Fans Support of Andy Thorn: A sign of just how far we have fallen?

Indeed. So ...... which team and tactics should Steve Harrison put in place for Saturday?

    Last game of the season

It would be a fantastic scenario. Let;s do the easy bit first though, eh, and beat Leshtur.

    Long term contact for Thorn

    Can't find it, it's hidden.

    Last game of the season

But we would already be down. Or were you being sarcastic? :D

    Last game of the season

Okay, so jumping the gun a bit here, but last game of the season we have Forest v Portsmouth Don't we just wish that both of them are right down there in the mix come that final day. We also have; Southampton v City Burnley v Bristol City Derby v Peterborough Millwall v Blackpool...

Survival? Sorry... but am I missing something

This is the most miserable I have been as a Sky Blues supporter for many a year.

Survival? Sorry... but am I missing something

Totally agree. Someone the other day said they have found it exciting. i have found it an absolute nightmare. One of the worst in living memory. Bottom 3 since October, owners we all despise, dwindling gates and thoughts of more struggles to come. I have hated it. Absolutely hated it...

Fans Support of Andy Thorn: A sign of just how far we have fallen?

I agree. For every "Thorn is shit" there's a "Thorn should be given a 5 year contract" and "West Ham would have another 10 points if AT was their manager." I'm all for just backing the team. This should mean though that people should be able to be critical on here after defeats without being...

Survival? Sorry... but am I missing something

A win at Leshtur and I might start believing. I think an away win could be a huge lift to our confidence and belief. Do feel like I am just dreaming though.

Survival? Sorry... but am I missing something

Agree. i think we should be feeling quite high going into home games.

Disagree somewhat. Don't expect them to be overly confident, just to play at at higher tempo and by in teams faces a bit more from the off. If we don't we are going to pay the penalty one of these home games.

Survival? Sorry... but am I missing something

But why are we low on confidence at home? Haven't we just won 5 out of 6 home games? Shouldn't our confidence at home be pretty damn high?

Survival? Sorry... but am I missing something

But I'm not talking about whole games. I am talking about us being up and at the races from the start. We don't have to play well the whole game, but the first 15-20 mins could be crucial. It sets down a marker and if you go a goal in front then that obviously gives you the upper hand and puts...

Survival? Sorry... but am I missing something

Don't understand your argument. When we have lost goals in the dying minutes they have pretty much been down to our own errors. It's not unlucky if you make a terrible pass that results in a goal. You have to admit that Leeds and Middlesborough most certainly didn't have their shooting boots...

Survival? Sorry... but am I missing something

Okay, so maybe it was 18 mins then. The point is if we don't tighten things up and try and dominate from the start then one of these games we will find ourselves two goals down. It's an accident waiting to happen. I could run across the motorway three times and not get hit. Does that mean I...

Survival? Sorry... but am I missing something

Well i dare say we have had our fair share of luck at home of late. Leeds were all over us the first 20 mins and only bad finishing prevented them being a goal or two up. Same with Middlesborough. they could have easily been 2-0 up against us. On Saturday again we were really sluggish out the...

Survival? Sorry... but am I missing something

But the away form is dire. If you had to lay your cards on the table then of course you would probably say we have more chance of winning 5 out of 6 home games than 1 single away match, so bad we are on our travels. What worried me against Forest was that Thorn seemed to think we did well in...

To be quite honest, I hadn't even noticed that he had put 'less than unlikely!':D

Survival? Sorry... but am I missing something

Just to remind people, our last away sequence has been 0-2 0-2 1-2 0-1 0-1 0-1 1-2 1-2 0-3 We hardly score a bleedin goal. Where are these away goals suddenly going to come from to enable us to win away games? Why am I so pessimistic? Because I watched City put on a pathetic display last...
