    New ACL statement 26-03-13 21.13

The administrator need to check all documentation before he is satisfied who owns the golden share. It is not enough for him that somebody says they own it - he want proof. Internal documents of the hand over. External documents communicating the transfer to the PL and PA. And it actually takes...

A few months ago when the Trust first said their goal was to make sure the fans got shares and representation on the board I said that would eventually make the Trust hostages as they would be part of decisions not all fans would applaud. Well, this thread is the first taste of just that...

    New ACL statement 26-03-13 21.13

Maybe - how cheap is decided by the main creditor ARVO - who is more or less controlled by sisu. Maybe sisu tops any bid they deem too low and regain full ownership.

I don't think the trust claim to represent ALL supporters - only the members.

    SISU the future

I had to Google that. 'The Stadium was originally owned jointly by Stoke City F.C., Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Stoke-on-Trent Regeneration Ltd. However, in December 2007 Stoke City F.C. announced that they had agreed a deal to buy the shares in the stadium of Stoke-on-Trent City Council...

The Trust are not journalists - they are a body trying to work with the club. The Trust tries to be the supporters voice. If the club gives them information - that is openness and transparancy. What we all want. If the club says: Here are answers to the questions you have asked, but please do...

Half stakes for sale - £4m and £40m

http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/coventry-city-fc/coventry-city-fc-news/2013/03/26/half-stake-in-ricoh-arena-on-sale-for-4m-92746-33061348/ I think Higgs paid about £6m. The 'secret formular' that was put in place to calculate a buy out is reported to be around £8m-£10m.

Half stakes for sale - £4m and £40m

It could be acceptable business to buy the Higgs shares for £4mio - if indeed that price tag is real and not just made up by a journalist.

Official - we are in administration already

Yes, it is so easy to lose the perspective in this mess of facts, half-facts and made-up's.

How much did ACL & the Council actually put in

So - after you have digested all the figures in this thread can I quietly ask once more: What if ACL ... ... were owned solely by CCC? What if a charity had never been involved? Would it had made any difference to the negotiations? Would there ever have been a rent strike? Would we...

    What if ACL ...

... were owned solely by CCC? What if a charity had never been involved? Would it had made any difference to the negotiations? Would there ever have been a rent strike? Would we the fans have demanded the city to sell ACL to the club at the prize of the mortgage? Would this have ever gone to...

    ACL Statement, Saturday 23 March

It is interesting as this may open the possibility of Higgs selling their shares to another party. But will another party buy the shares at the calculated formel? Maybe the consortium of local businesses ... 'Down the Pipes' or whatever it's called. Maybe ccc should buy the Higgs shares?
