    CVA meeting today

I believe it was said on this forum ... possibly by OSB? ... that matchday expenses were part of the original £1.2m yearly rent, but I may be mistaken.

    CVA meeting today

Excellent find. Well, that is simply not true unless Fisher thought the Escrow account was the clubs own money - which definetely wasn't the case. The club still paid 10K/match in expenses, so they did pay something.

    CVA meeting today

I never heard any of his CWR interviews, but I believe he was asked at the forum and answered the way I say. The forums are on YouTube if anyone want to find his exact words.

    CVA meeting today

You're not fair here. I think Fisher said ACL had received £800k in the last year. I know it is semantics - spin from Fisher, but that figure include the £500k from the Escrow as well as £10k/match paid by the club to cover matchday expenses. Technically Fisher never said the club paid £800k...

    CVA meeting today

ACL drew the first £500k from the Escrow account. The club paid matchday expenses - around £10k per game.

Will they use up the full 14 days? Of course it depends on what is to be considered, but maybe 7 days will do. Then they all have 7 days if more consideration and investigation is necessary.

A new buyer will only buy the shares and therby acquire the club and stadium. The morgages and other debts will be taken over. The value of the shares will depend on the assets covering the liabillities and the potential profit going forward. A future yearly profit of £4m-£5m require the club...

Your Choice, Take 15 Point Deduction or ACL Sign CVA?

Good luck - I played CIV I and II in my younger days. Excellent game, took forever to play through, but the AI was easy to beat.

No, you have misunderstood me. My fault most likely! I meant to say that the amount they would recieve if they sign the CVA would be the same no matter how much rent compensation was written into the deal. That is what I referred to as being 'smart' or 'immoral'. I really have no idea if they...

Yes - but I also said many times 'I think'. So it's only what I assume as I have no inside information or access to all the documents. For once I think both parties have been good at keeping actual facts out of the press and only feed their own spin. If I am right ... have Appelton been...

Your Choice, Take 15 Point Deduction or ACL Sign CVA?

The £600k will make a huge impact on the bottom line in ACL accounts! But it's the difference in having the club playing at RA in 3 or 4 years or not at all that will hang on the directors neck. They have no reason to believe a refusal of signing the CVA will increase the chances of sisu...

Your Choice, Take 15 Point Deduction or ACL Sign CVA?

I think they will stay. 1) While they build their own stadium if offered terms that are better overall to what they have to pay at Northampton. 2) Permanently if they are offered all the shares in ACL at terms that will overall make a better business case for the club compared with building...

Your Choice, Take 15 Point Deduction or ACL Sign CVA?

Not quite. It's all about the lease. Buying it out or let sit with a company being liquidated. If bought out it must be with some compensation - thus the 1 year rent on top of the outstanding £630K. You could argue that the compensation should be higher - three years or more, but in ANY case, I...

Your Choice, Take 15 Point Deduction or ACL Sign CVA?

Don't expect any pressures from the FL - it's not their job. They have been asked to facillitate a meeting - not be a mediator or arbitrator. They would only serve the tea and coffee. In any case, the directors duty is not something to take lightly, and making the wrong decision is often only...

As I said in the post you quote - that depends on the total business delivering a profit that enables a buyer to expect a return on his investment.

I understand your logic. And while I am no CVA or insolvency expert too and mostly go with what is said by the various stakeholders and what I can find on the internet I can see only come up with this: Signing the CVA will value the remaining of the lease at the compensation offered - £1.2m...

Not how I read it: “Where Mr Ainsworth seems most confused is between the sale of the business and assets and my ongoing investigation. The investigation is a totally separate issue and could still take some time to finalise. “However, I’m happy to report that our thorough and deep-rooted...

Yes, I agree - but the administrator has already done that as he has an obligation to investigate the validity of the assets in Limited. He has stated he has received all the information from all involved parties that he has requested - that include information from BDO, the auditors. I really...
