I think it's called marketing or something like that.

SISU handing tickets out to Northampton Fans :-/

The actual cost is the same. But let's put another angle on it ... What if sisu actually BUYS the tickets and hands them out for free (assuming they do)? Wouldn't it achieve a few positives: 1) The club secure its minimum budgeted income against the FFP calculation 2) A few 'locals' may...

If acl act on behalf of joint owners CCc/Alan Higgs

No, I think that was because that was the last piece of the chain. When ccc bought the ACL mortgage the whole card house came tumbling down. ACL is the the operational business of the community asset. If ACL went tits up, the asset would be in danger. So protecting ACL is (in the eyes of ccc)...

If acl act on behalf of joint owners CCc/Alan Higgs

You say it's ok that PWKH doesn't comment as he wasn't there. Surely it's ok that Fisher doesn't comment as he wasn't there? And Seppala never issues any statements apart from the odd christmas greetings.

If acl act on behalf of joint owners CCc/Alan Higgs

Well, we don't really know what was said exactly, and in what context. But I think JS could well have said something in the line of 'We have already tabled an offer for the ccc and Higgs shares. We are still interested in buying the full package, but the price is not negotiable above what we...

Coventry Owner Climbs Back Into The Black

Are they really? Or are the administration fees a way to distribute cost between Holdings and Limited? Usually hedge funds get paid by the investing funds ... not the company they administrate.

Coventry Owner Climbs Back Into The Black

It's old news ... OSB has already explained it in another thread.

Coventry Owner Climbs Back Into The Black

Sisu doesn't own us - a multitude of funds does. The funds are managed by sisu.

    Well Worth the read

One piece of information we are missing is the exact description of what error(s) was made and who made the error(s). You could see the 'express audit' of the other 77 clubs as an indication the error was made internally at FL and they did the audit to make sure it wasn't repeated elsewhere...

    Well Worth the read

I do believe that's quite unique and it makes me think we're missing a piece of information. Was it actually ccfc that made the first mistake? Don't you think the FL would have been all over the club if ccfc had made the initial mistake? Or do you think some sort of corruption have taken place?

Is the the nail in the sisu coffin?

I agree. Interestingly the document is signed by John Street ... who is now financial director at ACL. I could almost be tempted to bump up this thread: http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/16995-ACL-Finance-Director-John-Street-Conflict-of-Interest?highlight=John+Street

    Well Worth the read

But are any of the cases similar to ours? West Ham / Thevez was a clear case of third party ownership. But in any case - the article clearly show that FL have a history of making glaring errors.

    Well Worth the read

Let me add, FL are not considering our case as a third party ownership of players. Simply because Limited and Holdings are owned by the same owner.

    Well Worth the read

Having read most I sit back wondering why so much of the article is about penalties other clubs have paid for failures of their own. I can't see ccfc being penalized for errors admitted by the FL. Or have I missed something?

    Controversial idea

As long as there's an 'emergency breake' the owners can pull if the boards decisions would put the club at risk - yes, I think it would benefit the owners to share the responsibility with the fans. Any flak given for selling the potential superstar to Liverpool would be directed towards the fans...

If acl act on behalf of joint owners CCc/Alan Higgs

There's a slight bias in your questions. You ask what if ACL can continue being viable, but the club can't. But I think the answer would be sisu walking away. Allow me to ask questions with opposite bias: What happens if ACL can't succeed long term without ccfc bringing in punters? What...

If acl act on behalf of joint owners CCc/Alan Higgs

Unfortunately ACL can't sell the freehold - it is owned by ccc. Other than that I mostly agree with what you say.

    Controversial idea

If they pass voting rights to a fans rep, no money would be involved.
