Misleading headline. Wilder hasn't been approached, same as any other manager currently employed. This does not mean he isn't on the shortlist at all.
Part of me is thinking we are going to go through all this and they will just somehow excuse that Shaw is the right man for the job...
I like the idea of standing by our coaching staff, particularly ex players. Let's get the feeling of an actual football club back, built from the bottom up. That said, really hope this doesn't put off whoever the top candidate may be.
Likewise I think I agree, glad to see they are trying to get the right one in. But if they already have their man lined up, get him on screen on sunday.
Does it make sense to get the new manager in before Sundays game? It would mean live on tv would be a great sense of occasion, hopefully push players on. Or.. Would this be a rush, and heap too much expectation on already under performing players?
I think if they have in mind who they want...
Who cares if people buy tickets just to get advantage in general sale, it's more money to the club that wouldn't be there otherwise, how can anyone have a problem with that?!
Really could be jumping the gun, but change of formation could be refreshing. Think id have fleck instead of Elliott, and Barton being the supporting midfielder.
I think he's got some real quality. Until he gets tired he shows great control, vision and composure. Though when he tires around the 60th,he really is best brought off until he gets that fitness fully.
Hilarious really. Now Shaw has a worse record than AT! Shock horror people. Simply not good enough. So many strikers and not a goal between them. Not looking ng before its time to start worrying, the gap is getting bigger.
I've never seen anyone look so miserable! Looks like the sun may be in his eyes. I really hope it isn't an attitude problem. We really don't need that. Spoke to a Wednesday fan last night and he said he looked great on brief spell he was there.
Some players just need a fresh start. Hes spent a lot fo time out on loan for them, so i imagine they would be happy. Plus, its Forest fans. They probably think they would be too big for Rooney.
Agreed, that makes a very strong 4 attacking players, with a variety of pace, height and skill. Options are always good, and a 'good selection headache' as they say.
His scoring record isnt great, but by all accounts doesnt get many starts, or an out and out striker, or in league one obviously. So hopefully Shaw/New manager could get the best out of him if this is true.
