A few things to be concerned about

5-3-2 is a very flexible system depending only on how you play the WB's. It can be very protective with 5 in defense, or controlling with 5 in midfield or even super attacking with 4 in front. So a lot is down to the those two playing on the wings and how good they are at what they are asked to do.

A few things to be concerned about

When the play is not working it's mostly down to the players - either ours or the oppositions. That's where the quality of the bench is important. And the manager may also instruct players to change certain aspects during the match. No, but if we are not used to play 4-4-2, then playing it...

A few things to be concerned about

Maybe it would be different if the deal to go back home had been signed before most of the new players were drafted? We will probably increase player budget in January.

A few things to be concerned about

The formation and style of play is a strategy. The whole club is set up to play like this. It takes time to implement and refine and it takes time to get the right players in the right positions. SP has chosen this strategy. He won't change it but keep at it till it works. He just signed a four...

Men in Black and Fresh prince bel air star appeared Sky Blues match day programme.

He will be on the pitch at half time next Saturday and when everybody is looking at him he will put on his shades, hold up a strange looking pen and say 'What you have experienced the past 18 month never happened ...'. Then the pen will flash a sharp red light.

    Team Against Rochdale?

Maybe Clarke could replace Thomas in the middle, not so sure about Pugh. And Haynes need (deserve) a break.

    Phase 2: Operation SISU Out

A very good question! I suppose it depends on the price if a deal is at all possible. So far there's zero evidence that CCC are prepared to part with their shares. What is a fair price for the CCC shares? I would assume the same as the price Higgs would accept for theirs, but I don't think...

    Team Against Rochdale?

It was a 'tounge-in-cheek' remark ... although I am pretty sure it would have worked if our captain had done what he is supposed to make sure the other players do. Anyway, I agree with Pugh for Haynes.

Yep, that worked like a charm yesterday.

    Phase 2: Operation SISU Out

OSB explained it better than I did in my first reply to you:

    Phase 2: Operation SISU Out

The ARVO loan is around £12m - give or take a few millions. I think that is sustainable now we're back at the Ricoh with higher income and a much reduced cost base. Think of it as a bank loan. Having said that - if I was a potential investor I would probably demand that loan converted into equity.

    Phase 2: Operation SISU Out

Put us in a conference room with a huge whiteboard and a pot of tea/coffee and I think we find that we agree on most parts although using different words and phrases :-). New owners/Investors comes into Otium. Sisu keep SBS&L. Dissolve the group in separate entities with different owners and no...

    Phase 2: Operation SISU Out

I do not disagree with most of what you say, but I think our posts kind of comes from different positions. In my post I tried to put myself in sisu's position and think of a potential strategy. I then 'test it' by see how it fit with recent events. In your post you analyse the effect of such a...

    Phase 2: Operation SISU Out

I really don't care what he's called, as long as it's not 'club executive'.

    Phase 2: Operation SISU Out

Maybe we should wait a bit before starting another war. It's not unlikely the ownership structure will change sooner rather than later. Moving back could be the first step. Sisu could be moving away from the club leaving ARVO in charge and maybe a new investor (Byng?) coming in. This could...

    Phase 2: Operation SISU Out

I looked up the attendance last time we played Yeovil at the Ricoh (March 2013) - it was 11.200. So it more looks like we're back to normal more than anything else. The Gillingham game was the exception, not the Yeovil game.

    Fisher's Remarks...

Ha, that's true. It's an addiction stronger than methamphetamine. And the whole story is like Breaking Bad. (I guess we're in season 3 now, so still many more episodes to come).

    Fisher's Remarks...

Problem is that Compass paid £4m for 23% of IEC. That means ACL could potentially value their share of IEC at £13.4m. And that is just IEC ... what about the rest? How much would the owners of ACL value their business at? I am pretty sure any valuation would be way above sisu's price range.

Not yet ... after the merger they will.
