If the thought of League One hasn't quite hit you yet

Yep. Back to the chants of "You're going home in a taxi" me thinks.

    Home Support in League One

Agree. We do well it will be around 15k. You have to bear in mind there will be a number of very small away followings, so 15k would be very, very good. We struggle and it will hover around the 10k mark I think.

What are the odds on ...

Why do you think we will be around the play-offs? Do you agree we need around 8 players in? If so, where is the money going to come from for these players to come in? We need to strengthen and very much so. We cannot rely on the kids again.

Brian Woodall-random unsubstantiated transfer target of the day

If he costs more than 10p you can count us out. If he's 10p, we can take out a loan.

What are the odds on ...

Reality is though, City fans will be expecting us to do okay and at least win more games than we lose. Even that may be beyond us.

What are the odds on ...

The point is, couldn't ever see the City getting anywhere 90 points. Can you honestly see us winning anything like 27 games next season? Been a few on here saying we should be close to the play-offs no probs.

    Can it get any worse?

And if you are looking for 'if's then what about we will be okay 1. If we pay the rent. 2. If we come out of the transfer embargo. 3. If we file our accounts. 4. If we aren't liquidated.

What are the odds on ...

Must be really gutting. Can you imagine City amassing 90 points and not going up?

    Can it get any worse?

Where's the girlie posts? Paxman says look outside the box. Any outsider here would look and see 1. A team that only won 8 games all season. 2. A club under a transfer embargo 3. A club that hasn't filed it's accounts. 4. A club that hasn't paid the rent for 2 months 5. A club...

What are the odds on ...

A team winning 27 games out of their 46 matches, only losing 10 all season, amassing 90 points in total, scoring 92 goals and not making automatic promotion? :o

    Can it get any worse?

Problem with point 4 is, we have lost many, many games against opposition such as this and that being with us having much better players and being in much higher leagues.

    Can it get any worse?

Just don't accept this argument, Paxman. Reason? 1. Sisu sell. Sisu have sold and have consistently sold. they have had to sell to try and fend off debts. We have no reason to believe they will do any different this season. 2. Estimation is that dropping a division costs around 4m in lost...

If the thought of League One hasn't quite hit you yet

Yeah, Wingy, but besides that, if we were to say lose Clingan, Cranie and Keogh, we all know the players we will replace them with will not be of an equivalent standard. My guess is, sell anything that moves and then try and pray for the benevolence of higher league clubs to let us have some...

If the thought of League One hasn't quite hit you yet

My standpoint is that if we can strengthen we will be okay. We try and get by by only replacing those that go (Clingan, Cranie Keogh etc.) we are in for a very, very bumpy ride. Fact is, I am struggling to find any part of me that actually believes we are going to strengthen.

Not so sure Sphinx would entertain such a small club as us.

    Can it get any worse?

Think there was a poll the other day and it asked would you rather have AIDS or a season ticket. It was a very close call.

Not at all. Watched the Shef fUtd. V Stevenage game and they were both fast, strong and very physical. Many of them built like brick shit houses too. Both of them would roll us over as it stands at the mo.

If the thought of League One hasn't quite hit you yet

Fook me I am scared. Traditionally, City away at Crawley or Yeovil or Hartlepool more often than not have home wins written all over them. Next season though, even more so.
