    Stats to back up Otis

As you are good at conjuring up stats for me, can you work out how much happier I would be if I hadn't have met my wife? It was 2002. We met on a train travelling at 80 mph and I wore a smoking jacket and it was a Tuesday. It took 3 hours to get there but we didn't start the journey until 7...

i'm a better fan than you!

Yes, of course they are, but you are misisng the point of people's comments. We play well and win and it's usually all plaudits. We don't play too well, but deserve to win, then yes we have the points on the board, but the question then is of course, if we play like that every week will we...

What the hell was going on with that penalty?

Not so vehemently. Not with that much passion and gusto when it was that clear cut. It was such a clear cut pen there was nothing to argue about. Wasn't even close to being debatable. Never seen City players protest so much over a decision that was so right.

Doesn't happen after every win. It is usually invariably been that although we have deserved to win we haven't particularly played well. Would you want people to not mention the fact that Middlesborough had a player sent off then? Just pretend it never happened perhaps. :thinking about:

What the hell was going on with that penalty?

He looked unfit. Think it was all to do with their wingers. Think AT thought Clarke could do a better job on Saha than Christie and that Chrisite couldn't play at left back and therefore Cranie had to move over to the left back slot, which then meant there was a vacant berth in the centre.

I see nothing wrong whatsoever with saying "We beat Leeds but their fans said it was by far and away their worst performance of the seaosn." What on earth is wrong with that? :thinking about:

    Ashamed !!!!!!!!!

You just don't get it, Torchy. It is not a case of giving up. No-one has given up. It's just an acceptance. Doesn't stop people like me going up every week and continuing to support the team. It is not giving up. I am just a fan, not a City player, not a CCFC manger and not an employee of...

    Ashamed !!!!!!!!!

Feel the same. Think the only way we can stay up is if other teams fail. Don't believe it will be in our own hands.

How did that Prince song go? I wanna party like it's 1985?

The Pompey deduction thing has obviously helped lower the total points required I think. Still lots of games with bottom teams playing each other. Just wish Peterborough had a few less cos they look like they are in freefall at the moment.

    Ashamed !!!!!!!!!

There were positives for me. Crossing was better. Norwood controlled the midfield. McDonald showed what he is capable of at last. We didn't lose against a strong Palace team.

How did that Prince song go? I wanna party like it's 1985?

Would be good if this season could be another 1985. Been checking back through the records and found that in 1985 Middlesborough stayed up in 4th from bottom place on 40 points. 3rd from bottom Notts County 37 pts 2nd from bottom Cardiff 35 pts Bottom Wolves 33 pts. Long time ago, but I...
