I have seen that footage and thought the Sunderland fans behaved appallingly on that day. Disgraceful. Nice that, about 3,000 on to 1.
And as Tommy says, if you had moved on you wouldn't be on here talking about it endlessly for hours on end.
The game to watch is going to be Man City v Man U a week tomorrow.
Man City win that one and they will be back top (as long as they overcome Wolves today of course).
You sure we didn't collude with the chips too? Surprised we haven't buckled under this enormous stain that has weighed so heavily upon our shoulders for nearly 4 decades!!!
No, agree.
You did nowt wrong in 1977. But justice after 35 years? Torch is spot-on. Perspective for fooks sake!!!
All City fans know what happened in that last 15 mins was very wrong and I for one was there and screaming at our players to get forwards and win the game. Nowt we could do...
Fookin numpties.
I would be ashamed of any City fan holding a sad pathetic grudge for over 35 years over something that was in no way the fans fault and for the most part, down to the instruction of the police at the time
No Sunderland fan has answered my comments that I worked with at least 6 Sunderland fans for 15 years and at a time around and after this incident and not one of them ever even referred to this match let alone complained about it.
So how come we have people on here after 35 years still banging...
Otherwise I would have edited wouldn't I.
As you are a Cov fan on here you know you can edit what you have written without anyone knowing you made a mistake don't you.
Of course Hill shouldn't have been on the panel. How is that Sky Blues' fans fault?
And the reason i called you a fool is because it is very foolish to hold any sort of grudge like this for 35 years!! If you were wallowing in League 3 and still down amongst the deadmen because of it i could...
But why are you posting on here rather than sitting back basking in your 3-0 victory yesterday? MOTD were purring about your performance and you might well make that Champions League place.
