    Pointless Football Rules

You're just being pedantic! It's now 'impeding.' Still obstruction though! :D

    Seriously?

    Where will we finish???

Don't have to do Where's Wally when there's 11 of them quite easy to spot in there at times.

    Pointless Football Rules

Pretty sure there is an offence of obstruction.

    Where will we finish???

Sometimes I think Coventry City are an optical illusion.

Stop thinking the Hartlepool result is any good

Well possibly, but realistically we have to look at history to give us a considered indication of what is likely. Last 15 years, 6th place, 73 71 80 76 76 75 71 71 73 81 78 75 82 76 70 Pretty much tells you we are more than likely going to need 70 points to have any chance. So, 28 games...

    Pointless Football Rules

Not a rule, but one thing I hate to see is when players take the ball into the corners with just a few minutes to go to kill the game. Don't even like it when we do it. Surely the 'ungentlemanly conduct rule' could be applied there. It's is just plain ugly to watch and not in the spirit of the...

    Where will we finish???

I am the opposite. Always been an optimist, but last season and this have become very much a realist.

Stop thinking the Hartlepool result is any good

Anything other than defeat will be a good result. Would settle for a draw and then a win against Pompey for sure.

James McClean refusing to wear poppy

I will take a step back then and exit the building! :D

    Where will we finish???

    1. Because we haven't put one full decent performance in yet. 2. Because we have lost 19 points from winning positions. 3. Because it's odds on we'll lose our top scorer come Jan. 4. Because MR said it's going to take time to get things right. 5. Because MR has said there's still loads wrong...

James McClean refusing to wear poppy

What? That's just nonsense. How do you disturb anyone by being silent?

Stop thinking the Hartlepool result is any good

There are freak results all over the place from time to time. We've just got to hope this wasn't a freak result and is a pointer of things to come. Let's see how we get on tomorrow night and on Saturday before we all start wetting ourselves.

James McClean refusing to wear poppy

But I do think that is different. In that circumstance you would actually be disturbing people while they try to have the 2 mins silence. You would actually be infringing upon their right to have the silence. Simply not wearing a poppy doesn't have that same effect. That is a personal choice...

James McClean refusing to wear poppy

Would guess a fair few British Muslims wouldn't wear one either. As long as people respect the dead I have no problem. We should never make the wearing of any emblem such as this compulsory. Much ado about nothing stirred by hate filled papers such as the Daily Mail I reckon. I'm pretty sure...

James McClean refusing to wear poppy

Tis a silly little story. Only a couple of years ago, 15 of the Premiership clubs chose to wear poppies, 5 didn't. Personal choice. You can respect the dead without having to wear the symbol.

James McClean refusing to wear poppy

'Some have criticized the level of compulsion associated with the custom of wearing a poppy, something Channel 4 newsreader Jon Snow has called "poppy fascism". Columnist Dan O'Neill wrote that "presenters and politicians seem to compete in a race to be first – poppies start sprouting in...

James McClean refusing to wear poppy

But he is Irish and many Irish people were killed by the British Army during all the troubles. 'The poppy is especially controversial in Northern Ireland and most Irish Nationalists and Irish Catholics refuse to wear one due to the actions of the British Army during the troubles.' Most it...

James McClean refusing to wear poppy

He is within his rights to do so and it is entirely wrong for him to receive abuse too. Surely wearing a poppy is one of personal choice.
