Stop thinking the Hartlepool result is any good

In League One. Only looked at League One because that is the league we are in. :D Can have a look at Peterborough or Ipswich though if you're desperate!

    play off Form?

Usually do it with about 12 games to go ..... not 28!!! Haven't got that much time on my hands.

    play off Form?

Ahh, but to be fair, people were just happy and keen to talk about the win, but a whole rash of threads started to come out to start talking about the play-offs. I wanted to talk about the win but it was all awash with top 6 talk. At the end of the day it was just one game and we should have...

    Where will we finish???

The answer is three. Three of the four defeats have come under Robins' stewardship. Carlisle, Notts County & Scunthorpe. We can excuse the Carlisle one though to a degree as it was his first in charge.

Stop thinking the Hartlepool result is any good

7 points from the 3 games would be a great return. Pompey are on a slippery slope at the moment, having lost 5 league games in a row, so you have to fancy our chances of getting something from the game there. Tonight is a much tougher prospect.

    play off Form?

As I say, despite people seemingly being baffled by it, I would be happy with 12th. Next season will be the one where Robins can have all his own players and not everyone else's cast-offs.

    play off Form?

All we are interested in now though is play-off form from this point forwards. Tonight and Saturday are now very key games. If we can get 4 points from these 2 we will be heading in the right direction ... and that is up the table!!

James McClean refusing to wear poppy

I'm sure many people do do that. I have no problem with that either. I would at a guess think that many Irish people do not wear the poppy because of the Ireland troubles and many British Muslims don't because of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. It's their right. A lot of people do...

Stop thinking the Hartlepool result is any good

Not sure how you can look at the wrong history. :thinking about: No club in over 30 years has gone from where we were to top 6. That's history. It's not the right or wrong history it's just history. I respect other people's opinions on here. By the same token I get a lot of slating from a few...

James McClean refusing to wear poppy

I know. Just saying the Irish remained impartial during WW2 and of course there have been the troubles in Ireland with a lot of Irish very much disliking the British Army. And that the poppy has now become a symbol for all wars since WW2.

Stop thinking the Hartlepool result is any good

If you live in the real world like I, then you are a realist not a negative head. I am not at all negative. Just a realist who looks at history and at the club I know and love, and at what the manager himself is saying. That's not being negative. It's being rational and a pragmatist. I see it...

James McClean refusing to wear poppy

Irish neutrality during World War II The policy of Irish Neutrality during World War II was adopted by the parliament of Ireland upon the outbreak of hostilities in Europe. It was maintained throughout the conflict, in spite of several air raids from Nazi Germany.

    Where will we finish???

We have lost nearly half our home matches so far. That's not going to equate to a meteoric rise up the table is it. We need to sort out our home form.
