I actually think they'll use they're leverage to get some money thrown at the province which SF will be on board with. The DUP also want to maintain the soft border with the Republic which again SF are all for.
I think a bigger issue could be if the rest of the UK sees the government giving into...
no I don't.
I want people to either except it from both leaders or criticise both leaders.
If you have criticised May over this then apologies, I missed it and fair play, you've kept a consistent position even if I don't agree.
the thing is it's a ridiculous question, would you vote for a labour leader who had carried out propaganda on behalf of isis - I mean come on!
And you put it out there as a smoke screen to cover tory hypocrisy.
But it's simple, will those who slated corbyn for meeting republicans do the same...
did Corbyn help with Propaganda? I'm yet to see proof and the more I see it in the right wing press the less I believe it.
Unlike many, I didn't fall for their Hillsborough lies either.
mine are. I haven't slated corbyn for his meeting with republicans and I have slated May for teaming up with the DUP. I'll slate the policies and beliefs of both parties because I don't agree with many of them but I haven't slated their right to coalition.
But those that were slating Corbyn...
I never said I didn't have a problem with adams. I said I'm more concerned with current threat.
If isis laid down their arms tomorrow and a new bunch of maniacs emerged then they'd be more of a concern to me than isis.
But as it is, isis are the current threat and our government is helping...
I thought I was indecisive ESB, (in fact I am really indecisive), but you're off the scale!
Don't know who to vote for, don't know whether to move abroad or buy a house!
no one has said any of that. You're imagining things. We're simply pointing out the hypocrisy. Which is rife.
As much as they're a bunch of bible bashing nut jobs, I'm hopeful they'll keep the tories in check, which probably tells you how low my opinion of the tory party is.
No. It doesn't bother me. But seen as the tories made such a song and dance about corbyns links to Irish republicans isn't it hypocritical to have one as an elected councillor, yes or no?
it doesn't bother me. I've seen heads of state meet and defend people much worse than the ira or the uda. Sometimes for the sake of a greater goal, or sometimes, just because they're cunts, (Thatcher Pinochet, Thather Pol Pot etc).
but that's like saying your not aware of the actions of the Nazis because you weren't around in the 2nd World War.
I'm a big fan of Mark Steel but last night he was on about taking the vote of 70 year old men because they're all tories. OK, he was half joking but it pissed me off and I turned...
It's not about excusing Corbyn, it's about working out what threats are current and real.
I no longer worry about my family walking down the street and getting blown up by an IRA bomb.
I do worry about them getting attacked by some Islamic fundamentalist with a bomb, or with a lorry or whatever...
