    Brown, Ince & Robins

I would be okay with Robins.

Only one man to blame for this- Thorn

But the players probably wanted Thorn to stay because it was all pally-pally and like a love-in. Too much a 'mates' atmosphere. Thorn had to go. Seems clearly apparent. Lack of pace, width, throwing leads away, lacked of tactical nous.

When was the last time City played well for 90 minutes?

Confidence? Can understand that from the players we had here last year, but the new players? We brought in new players who must have come in confident and had no part in the depression of last season. When we have had a goal go in against us why have the new players' heads dropped? That...

    Brown, Ince & Robins

3 managerial appointments, sacked all 3 times. One bit of success at Hull and nothing but failure after that. He had success nearly 4 years ago. Nothing since. Famously bollocked the players on the pitch at half-time (which some on here champion as a good thing), but after that debacle the...

When was the last time City played well for 90 minutes?

It is pathetic really to not be able to conjure up even one complete performance. I do hope it is down to bonuses this season, cos otherwise one of the alternatives is that Thorn bought in a whole bunch of players who don't give a shit or have the belly for a fight.

Whether today or not, we can't keep playing for only part of the game and expect to come away with anything!

Linnell's off talking tripe again (interactive)

Errm, City hot favourites for promotion ..... errm this season we would be coming flying out of the blocks .......... errrm ..... no excuse, interim manager or no interim manager.

Only one man to blame for this- Thorn

Interesting one this one. Guess we will only know if a new manager comes in and we're still shit. If we are then some blame will most certainly be aimed in AT's direction, for if we continue to slump you would have to say the players he brought in aren't good enough. You have to recall we...

Bobby Gould applied to be manager

Maybe you are right, but it might help your case if you spelled 'buffoon 'correctly. ;)

Bobby Gould applied to be manager

And him not managing Cov again is on everyone's else's bucket list.

    The coach

Fisher/Waggott the other day alluded to the fact that one of the 9 candidates was a coach rather than a manager without any managerial experience. Just wondering who that might have been and whether or not there is a possibility that he has made it to the shortlist of 3. Billy McKinlay is the...

    Team Vs Tranmere

Thomas I don''t think will be match fit and Clarke is a better full back than Christie. Would agree with SkyBlue Baker on this one.

Supposed to be the bees knees. Great graphics and the word is it is going to be so much bigger, better and bolder than the Wii and the games so much better too.

You do realise that was a joke don't you? You talked of people throwing their toys out of their pram. It was just a joke. I was being self-deprecating about my being one of those up in arms at the thought of Brown coming. Was just saying mine's not a pram it's a buggy I threw my toys out of...
