The Adverts? 999? The Boys? The Undertones? XTC? Devo?
  2. Otis

According to CCFCTV the three names on the short-list are:

The plus for Robins it appears is that the fans of his former clubs seem to like him, while we have had very negative comments about Phil Brown, Ince, Money etc. and Wilder too from a number of opposing fans. Usually if fans like the manager it is a sign of something going right. Ince has had...

According to CCFCTV the three names on the short-list are:

    1. Robins 2. Money 3. Ince. That would be my choice in order of preference. Or 1. Money 2. Robins 3. Ince. That would be okay too in the grand scheme of things (i.e only 3 to choose from). Just hope the order doesn't begin with. 1. Ince.

Why is everyone so Anti Paul Ince?

The more I hear about Ince the more I want Robins. It's bad though isn't it. We are now all choosing a manager based on which one we dislike the least! ;)

    If City were a band

Thinking about it, one band does sum us up perfectly. The Fall!

    Ince, Robins or Shaw

Worked on small budgets. That has to suit us better than Ince who would surely be looking for much more financial backing in the transfer markets.

Why is everyone so Anti Paul Ince?

Jim Brown went through the records and uncovered this little gem. Rather embarrassing isn't it.

    Ince, Robins or Shaw

But didn't Richard Keys say that a takeover deal was imminent and that the City were going to go bust any minute a couple of months ago?

Only one man to blame for this- Thorn

I certainly wasn't one of them and as I said previously on another thread I don't recall who said that.

Why is everyone so Anti Paul Ince?

The last manager we had poached while in charge here was Jesse Carver in 1955.

Why is everyone so Anti Paul Ince?

9 in a row does point a little to a lost the plot moment, but maybe there were other circumstances to consider too. You compare that however to the likes of Paul Tisdale whose team went 125 games without back to back defeats and it looks even more dreadful.

Why is everyone so Anti Paul Ince?

Robins left but is blamed for managing a team he wasn't even leading? Hmmmmm, let's not let facts get in the way of a good story. ;) Don't think people are that anti-Ince, just that they don't think he is the answer and just another 'name.' This stuff they pick up on though. Milton Keynes...

Indeed. Got about 6 of their albums and seen them live too.

    If City were a band
