    MK Dons

I'd rather have 43 pts from 26 games than (assuming we win) 46 pts from 30 games.

    Moving on down

I think at this stage thats all we can do, I said before the Oldham game we'd be further away from the playoffs come mid February than we are now, purely because there are so many midweek games between now and then. The games against the likes of Bournemouth, Sheff Utd, Brentford are...

    Crewe away leg.

ferrets idea would be the best way, don't know why the club stopped the away card stamp, it seemed to work well enough, I assume it was purely down to lack of demand at the time and an admin cost cutting isue. So the first day would be for people with say 10 stamps, second day for 5 stamps...

Points Needed For A Top 6 Finish Over The Last 8 Years

Aah I see SB, the games you highlighted in red are definitely ones where a draw is the best result. Noth teams dropping points is more beneficial than one team winning.

Points Needed For A Top 6 Finish Over The Last 8 Years

I think you have to still include Notts C (6 pts behind us - 4 games in hand), Stevenage (3 pts behind us - 3 games in hand) Crewe (3 pts behind us - 2 games in hand) as all still very much in the mix. Of course they can't all win and its going to be very difficult to get an accurate picture...

Points Needed For A Top 6 Finish Over The Last 8 Years

Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but on the next 4 Tuesdays there are 4-5 re-arranged games each week, and nearly every game involves a team around or above us: 22/01/13 - Brentford v Orient, Bury v Sheff Utd, Hartlepool v Bournemouth, Notts C v Oldham 29/01/13 - Crawley v Preston...

    Crewe away leg.

I'm an away ST holder and they've taken payment for mine today. For what its worth I think first priority should go to people who have a ticket stub from York away in the JPT and Carlisle last weekend.

    oldham game

Fair enough! I'll be there anyway, but IF it does go ahead its absolutley critical we win the game. We cannot afford to be 3 or 6 points behind MK, Bournemouth, Swindon having played 3 games more.

    oldham game

IMO the club seem a bit obsessesd with getting the game on for the sake of preserving a record of no postponements. Personally I think there could be some advantages to the game being called off: - it would give the players a much needed break, MR said last Sunday that the players were jaded...

we must take advantage of postponments

I spoke to the ticket office about half and hour ago. They have been out to look at the pitch and it is already completely covered despite the heating system bring on, the snow is gathering more quickly than the undersoil heating can clear it. All the gangways and stairwells are snow covered...

ACL and the City Council announcement

I caught the back end of that too but didn't know who it was, so that was PWKH??? What is the guys name, sounded like he was pretty high up in the whole set up?

    Who else is going today?

About to set off in 15 minutes, is there any news of a pitch inspection or is the game not in doubt at all?

    So... Back to league business!!

I've been saying for a few weeks now that despite our run of late, the play offs are still a long way off, we're going to have to stay virtually unbeaten for the rest of the season to make them IMO. When you consider that Bournemouth are unbeaten in 16 and Brentford unbeaten in 13 and they...

    Pubs for spurs

Not sure tbh, it was always an Irish pub when we used it in our PL days, quite oldy-worldy decor.

    Pubs for spurs

I meant the pub called The Victoria, its on small side street called Scotland Green off the High Road. About 10-15 mins walk from the ground. I know its still open but not sure if they let visitors in there any more?

    Pubs for spurs

Can away fans still use the Victoria? It was always our choice during our PL days.

    Improvements made

When you look at that league table it's certainly an amazing transformation. The other interesting one on there is Bournemouth, since Eddie Howe returned their record is played 13, won 10 drawn 3. Right now i'd wager they will fill one of the automatic promotion spots come the end of April.

    football league show

You do realise its done in order of league position don't you? So the team in 1st is shown 1st etc. We are in the bottom half so if we play another team near the bottom we'll be on near the end. Next week we'll be one of the first games shown guaranteed.

    Fisher on Free Radio

The TF argument about "average rent" dosen't make any sense, you are paying for the facility not the level we're at - the Ricoh is not an average league one stadium. I don't know which other teams rent, but lets say its Yeovil. Well yes £100k a year is a fair amount for their ground, but when...
