    Plain or stripes?

Can I just confirm this thread is only about whether we prefer the look of a plain kit or a striped one and nothing else. Be a great shame if it was hijacked into something else.

You are confusing different things. 1. Yes, I hate this kit. Yes, I find it wishy washy. But that has nothing to do with this. Whichever shade of sky blue we play in, if the seats are sky blue and are empty it's going to make no difference at all to whether it is a problem or not is it. 2. I...

    Plain or stripes?

MR is talking about the seats being a problem not the kit. This thread is just about which kit we like the best. The two threads are in no way related. You have indeed misread. And who's the 'lots of us?' Just the two of you you mean?

Our own fans came out with this? Our own manager came out with this!

    Plain or stripes?

No, I don't genuinely think changing the kit will improve the side. Where on earth have you conjured that one up from? Very vivid imagination you have there I have to say. Nowhere has anyone said such a thing. This thread and the historical kit thread is simply about which kit looks...

No-one is saying it did. There were at least 4 passes in the first half though hit to the flanks where the ball was nowhere near the player and went straight out for throw-ins. No-one is talking about shots on goal, they are talking about picking out players with a background of sky blue empty...

But the time limit there is even shorter than 2 hours. No idea how you've got away with it, cos they are usually really on the ball about that. I recall one day my coming out of Burger King and starting to walk towards the Ricoh and they jumped straight down my throat ....... and I hadn't even...

    Darren Brown Apocalypse

I got the heart and courage thing, but didn't realise he was actaully trying to recreate the Wizard of Oz! Albeit with zombies. :claping hands: Brown's latest blog: We all survived. Steven is a finer Steven than before: despite a week of negative Twitter speculation reported disingenuously...

    What's your favourite City kit

I like it, except for the shorts.

    Plain or stripes?

Totally agree. Our finest moment was in stripes too.

    Plain or stripes?

Wonder if this became quite unanimous whether the club would listen or not to the fans?

    Plain or stripes?

It would also help differentiate between Man City and ourselves. Don't think anyone else has a sky blue striped kit do they? Be nice to have something unique for a change. Just had a quick look at Man City's kit history and they have never really had stripes for the past 100 years.

    Plain or stripes?

Looks so much nicer I think. Have liked nearly all the striped kits. This season's plain kit is just awful I feel. Anaemic.

    Plain or stripes?

Following on from the favourite kit thread, it got me thinking whether or not fans preferred plain sky blue or sky blue with stripes (either dark blue or white as worn before). So, simple question, if we the fans had our say would we go for plain or stripes? Stripes for me. Think our best...

    What's your favourite City kit

Wonder at what point in time black strips were outlawed. Would guess when we wore the black kit refs didn't wear black in those days.

    What's your favourite City kit

This season's kit looks like it's been set on a high temperature.

You never heard of anyone adapting to the conditions as a game wears on? Seriously? :thinking about:

    Robins agrees with me

Yep, agree. I know they were lower league, but we won and our away form ain't that bad and like you say it's our home form that is. I think it right and proper for the manager to look at all angles and all possibilities. The passing that first 20 mins was atrocious to say the least!

Were Dagenham and York not away games then? I'm confused. It's 4 wins out of 10 away. What difference does it make if it is a cup or league game? We are talking about whether we play better away or not!

    Robins agrees with me

Our away form isn't shite. Won away at Dagenham and York in the cup. In the league, won 2, drawn 2, lost 4. So in total, 10 games, won 4, drawn 2, lost 4. That's not shite. That's not bad at all.
