They aren’t prevented the same way. We have vaccinations for flu and know a reasonable amount about it. We aren’t even sure right now whether you can catch COVID twice or whether you build an immunity to it. We know seasonal flu does down after March/April, we are hoping that’s the case for this...

Swine Flu has a mortality rate far far lower than COVID19. Even lower estimates for COVID put it at 50 times as lethal. It’s the combination of lethality and contagiousness that you use to judge severity not one or the other.

It’s not the flu. Influenza is an entirely different virus. They are both contagious and both cause respiratory problems. That’s it.
