    Coventry United FC

Why not! Coventry Sporting, Coventry Singers, or simply call themselves Sky Blue FC.
  2. Otis

    Coventry United FC

I would be interested. But as I say, I loathe the name. It conjures up nothing fresh or innovative.
  3. Otis

    Coventry United FC

Can't see any harm in City fans going to watch while the Sky Blues are in Walsall for the next 3 years.
  4. Otis

    Coventry United FC

Crap name. Needs to be Coventry Phoenix or something entirely new. Maybe even go back to Singers. I'm only nitpicking here of course, but it has to be something other than Coventry United. Can't see City fans chanting 'United, United.' Come up with a new name. New identity. Then they might be...

Quiz: 10 most popular sports in the world

Just looked for 10 most popular. Three sources all came up with the same list, but they didn't quantify the criteria. Fishing isn't in there. Am guessing they mean in terms of participation rather than audience figures.

We should urge FA to block Hedge funds from owning clubs

True, but we'd be the first to complain on here if another club did it. Seemingly they have gone into admin and come out pretty much scott free. The 10 points didn't hurt us one little bit.

We should urge FA to block Hedge funds from owning clubs

What we have done is entirely wrong on the admin front too. You have to admit that. I'm sure rival fans think we've pulled a fast one. To only put part of the club in administration is plain wrong and shouldn't be allowed. You go into admin, you go into admin. For Sisu (or any owner) to still...

    Ignore what Timmy Fishook says..

It's all this question of 'beneficial ownership' though isn't it. This is where the waters are muddied.

Who on here will renew their season ticket if SISU re purchase CCFC Ltd?

What players? Can't see us attracting many and what happened to the 'more first team squad to be released.' Just been the initial 4 and then a few kids. All gone quiet since then. Guessing Pressley is realising he might not have many players left.

Who on here will renew their season ticket if SISU re purchase CCFC Ltd?

Well if you can afford it and disapprove the move, I can think of no better way of supporting CCFC than by only going to away games. You still have the Sky Blues in your veins and you're still supporting them, only it will be just at away fixtures only.

    Sisu's own rules under Frc

Just thinking. Is there any possibility whatsoever you think of say PH4 buying the Arena (or part share) and the golden share, but keeping Sisu onboard in a joint capacity, with an exit strategy in place for when we are promoted? Sort of working in tandem with a promise to pay Sisu off in the...

Who on here will renew their season ticket if SISU re purchase CCFC Ltd?

Well that's it. Moving out of the city, planning on building an 8,000 capacity stadium and reduced to selling stuff from a large wheelbarrow. This is where we are, this is where we are going and the slide into the dark recess gathers more and more momentum with each passing year.

Who on here will renew their season ticket if SISU re purchase CCFC Ltd?

We are going to struggle surely aren't we? To bring players in we need season ticket sales and money from merchandising, like new kit etc. We haven't even begun to sell season tickets and when we do the figure is going to be incredibly low. And how on earth is the 8,000 in the future going to...

    tim

I think crowds of 6,000 - 7,000 are wildly optimistic. Besides the many who will refuse to go, there are many more who even if they wanted to, either can't afford it or can't go. I'm pretty much in all 3 camps. 1. I won't go because we won't be playing anywhere even remotely close to...
