Yeah but they’re both ten times the politician of a Corbyn or a Pidcock. I wish there was someone articulate and savvy with left wing views I could follow TBH. I can’t respect any of the current SCG.

Got to be honest I’ve seen very little in this thread about Labour or stories most of the discussion has been on events, tactics, and personal experiences.

Method of Rating Manager Transfer Ability

How often do you think that happens though? One player isn’t going to change the overall metric and if they keep signing players who have freak accidents there’s probably something to it. Sharp shooting very specific scenarios where a model doesn’t work doesn’t stop the model working elsewhere.

Video SEASON REVIEW | Zain Westbrooke

Good set pieces as well. Like Westbrooke same as Shipley, was often overlooked for the flashy players who we were waiting on and seen as a stop gap but both valuable players in their own right. Would be hilarious if next season the players to step up were Mason, Westbrooke, Shipley and Baka.

The most annoying thing about the Labour left is it’s lack of talent. TBF that’s also the most annoying thing about the Labour right, but I’m less bothered about their politics being enacted. Nothing on the level of a Sanders, AOC over here really. I’ve got my issues with both but both are...

Method of Rating Manager Transfer Ability

If you sign a player who is always injured are they a good signing? You’re looking for perfection which doesn’t exist. Just another lens to look at the game is all.

But you can say that a big money signing that barely plays is a failure. Obviously all models are wrong and that but thought it was an interesting way to look at a transfer record. And got me thinking who would be top/bottom of such a table. Coleman? Mowbray? At the bottom I’d guess, maybe a...

TBF we can’t go much further left. I think last election we were more liberal than the Lib Dem’s and more left than the Greens.

Don’t be silly. The list of more dangerous things than terrorists includes biscuits and step ladders. Don’t change anything and don’t live in fear.

Have the terrorists been sat around waiting for lockdown to finish? Three months of isolation and web usage probably doesn’t help deradicalise I’d guess. Assuming it is terrorism of course.

Not sure playing angel investor to tech companies is what I want my tax money spending on TBH. Just swallow your pride and team up with another system FFS why on earth do we need a low orbit satellite cluster of our own?

Could be wrong but pretty sure I read it’d take a bigger swing than 97 to win from where we are. Sadly I agree that I can’t see a Labour victory in 2024, though with corona and Brexit to come there’s every chance we’ll have a Tory party dealing with a massive recession and being blamed for maybe...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Theres two probabilities though, 1:1700 is the probability of someone having it where you are (not really but you know what I mean) the probability of that person infecting you is another. I’d imagine that’s also a function of how close to how many people you get.

Ironically I went through a broker. I don’t normally let it just auto renew but had a lot on and the quote was reasonable so I let it run.

Not being pro Brexit worked for Labour in 2017, I’m not sure you can read much more beyond that. The trends of the decades before didn’t change, we just picked up a load of anti-Brexit vote that had softened or hardened to either “just do it, it’s democracy” or “revoke” and we fell between those...

    Rebecca Long-Bailey sacked

I think the Tories showed last year you can have a blank page with “insert manifesto here” in large type and people won’t care. There was a mood to get Brexit done and the Tories tapped into that. Blair there was a mood that things could improve in the 90s, new millennium, Cool Brittania and...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Literally my first sentence “this isn’t how stats work”. But as a fag pocket calculation assuming even spread across the country it’s something Equally it works the other way, you could have ten thousand people with no cases of the virus. For the beach you’d have to work out where people...
