    Owners & Directors test

you are correct OSB. there was some questioning down in the this part of the world with some of the owners pompey had and the answer that came from the FL essentially it was that way as they could not afford to do any form of proper test or defend themselves in court if they turned anyone down...

    **Fisher stunned by new deal**

If they stay at the Ricoh Fisher going would make sense. Even if he is not to blame at all (not that I believe that) then a new face at the table might help things. Might also make sense for the likes of PWKH to be removed from the front line, not saying he's done anything wrong or should get...

Joy willing to meet with Ann Lucas

Was she even scheduled to be at the meeting? If she was and hasn't shown up that's one thing. If Joy has just decided to turn up at and expect people to be there with no advance warning that's a totally different situation.

An interesting comment re Byng and other possible investors

This is the same Byng who said he had made a bid before then it turned out he hadn't, not an inspiring start! The problem with this idea is how much SISU are going to want. Lets say they get the stadium for next to nothing they then sell it at full market value to walk away with a huge profit...

    CVA not agreed

For the police to get involved would require ACL, or anyone else for that matter, to present them with pretty clear evidence that the law is being broken. If a liquidator comes in, who I believe is independent, he would have a much greater level of access to information than the likes of ACL...

    New Brandon Arena

it'll be great, forget the pie money they can make a fortune on Sky Blue binoculars so we can all see the pitch past the race track and greyhound track!

    Acl

not sure what you're driving at here. on the mortgage to YB the payments were around £1.2m and ACL were meeting these and overpaying, even while CCFC were refusing to pay rent. The remortgage means they now have a lower interest rate and therefore lower base payments. It could well be the case...

it's gone on overpayments on the loan ACL took out to purchase the lease.

Anyone got any info on this photo

I have a feeling that while we ended up getting hammered by Saints (hammered, get it?) if we had beaten them and West Ham won they would have got 2nd not Southampton.

    Hyundai

I've got an i20, it's decent enough. Not really a car person and it was a cheap option to get around. If you're driving around town you will struggle to get anywhere near the MPG they claim but I suspect that it true of all manufacturers.

    Here comes the crunch!

where has it been shown that without the club ACL will run at a loss. You can't just deduct the clubs rent from headline figures and draw that as a conclusion that's far too simplistic. How do you know ACL haven't lost custom due to the stadium bowl being unavailable or organisations not wanting...

    Player Registrations

some of those figures seem way off and don't seem to take into account how long contracts have to run. Does anyone really see us getting £450K for Murphy or £650K for Billy Edge?!

    Player Registrations

Remember this time last year when all the players had to sign new contracts, supposedly to support out the wage structure. I would be surprised if this wasn't the point at which the change was made. Maybe we should tweet Bell or one of the players who have left and see if we get an answer!

    Here comes the crunch!

I would imagine it's a matter of how you get the process started. ACL, or anyone else for that matter, don't have access to the books or internal workings of SISU so while they may be certain something that shouldn't have happened, such has asset stripping, has taken place, compiling enough...

    Player Registrations

FL should be ashamed, they haven't issued any clear statements and won't answer legitimate questions. Can only lead me to believe they have something to hide. When a group of fans went to their offices last week they refused to even answer the door to them!

    Sky Blue Ribbons

any idea who's taking them down, is it the council? surely even Fisher wouldn't bother sending someone round the city taking the ribbons down?

    Here comes the crunch!

Depends on the results of the investigation but if, for example, they have been asset stripping Ltd then those assets can be returned to Ltd (with the added bonus of possible legal action against Joy and Tim). Once everything is as it should be the sale process could be done again however now...

    Here comes the crunch!

Not sure people really think that. If the CVA is signed then that's the end of it, we're at Northampton and there's no further investigation into SISU. Refuse the CVA and who knows where we will start the season but the key point would be the management of the club by SISU would be investigated...

    Police on stand By

The proposed CVA shows an unpaid tax bill and they also haven't paid for their use of the Higgs Centre. Even ignoring that if they have only agreed to pay costs at the ground and the local police say there are further costs unless SISU agree to pay for it why would they pay any bill for it?

    Here comes the crunch!

I would guess a deal has been made with the FL (as it's their cock up that has allowed players and the golden share to be split between two companies) along the lines of they will allow Otium to takeover as long as everything ends up back in one company. Remember when ACL were going to challenge...
