    Yeovil can help us

No I'm not contradicting myself, I'm not saying being beaten by Yeovil was a one-off, I'm saying them scoring 6 goals against the best defense in the division is a one-off.

    Yeovil can help us

Yeovil can help us get promotion or at least get in the playoffs, they are on a good run of form taking 7 points from the last 3 games, against us, Exeter, & Colchester. They still have to play Luton, Swindon, Stanley, Notts C, and Wycombe and after watching them yesterday who wouldn't bet on...

    Player Ratings

Yeovil had 7 shots on target and scored with 6 of them. Yes we were awful but the scene was set in the first 10 minutes with 2 mistakes which were punished clinically. Games like this happen from time to time. We will beat Notts C on Saturday.

    Ifollow

I will be on holiday in Spain during the playoff dates, assuming we are in the playoffs will I be able to watch the games on Ifollow if I take out the match passes? I assume I won't need a VPN as I will be using the local wifi in the hotel. I assume I won't have a problem paying with a UK bank...

    Simple Thread: Points & Position

Newport - draw Yeovil - win Notts C - draw Crawley - loss Stevenage - win Lincoln - win Cheltenham - win Morecombe - win 17 points 81 total, might be enough for 3rd but more likely 4th. Edit, we will win the playoffs

    The Run In

Yeovil won't be too worried at the moment, they are 8 points clear of the bottom 2 with 2 games in hand over several below them. If they lose 3 or 4 on the trot they may start to worry but we will have played them by then.

    League One or League Two

    Could you imagine Sunderland's reaction?

    The Run In

Actually Swindon have a very similar run in to us, but Lincoln play Exeter, Wycombe, Accrington, and us
  10. S

    The Run In

But surely we are not too bothered who make up the top 7 places as long as we are one of them. Lincoln are currently 3 points adrift of us and Swindon 4 points. That is a lot to make up in 8 games as long as we stay on form and get the results we expect.

    The Run In

Without bothering to look at Luton & Accrington, its looking to me like: Wycombe 82 points Notts C 78 points Exeter 80 points Mansfield 78 points 6 wins required by us to have any realistic chance of autos I think, and possibly a draw as well unless we can rack up at least a couple of 3-0 wins

    The Run In

Notts C found to their cost yesterday how difficult games involving teams fighting relegation can be. Of our remaining fixtures only 2 teams are genuinely fighting for something, Notts C & Lincoln are currently the only teams we play with a realistic chance of the playoffs, Newport & Crawley...

    Next 2 Games

Its more our style of play though, why we don't get more from midfield. There is no reason why the likes of Reid, and even Kelly if he gets forward like he did on Saturday can't score one or two.

GW46 - Where we should have V did finish this season

Looking at that list, the only way we won't win at least 5 of them is major loss of form or really bad luck with injuries. Last night was disappointing but most on here were predicting a comprehensive defeat before the game. Of the 2 sides still in with a realistic chance of the playoffs besides...

Match Thread Coventry City vs Barnet Match Thread - Saturday 10th Mar

Barnet seem to be well organised by Wesley, and before today were level with us on the last 6 form table, since Wesley arrived. Plus they are a big strong side, typical of the sort of team we struggle against. Great 3 points today

most Important 3 points for a few years not just this season

That's exactly what Wycombe have done in the last 5 matches Mansfield are the form team at the moment along with Accrington, will have to wait and see what Mansfield do now.

To Willis or not to Willis?

If I remember correctly Hyam came on for Kelly in 22nd minute when we were already 1-0 down Edit: just read your post again, got confused by the post above
