Kitching will be a different player next season with a pre season with us. His first season in The Championship. I’ve seen enough to l know why Robins wanted him. Strange game today. There was certainly fight from our team but no quality at all. Lati was excellent when he came on however

    24/25 changes?

Palmer & Sakamoto, and possibly Torp can play that AM role. I'd bring in another wide player, and a ST to replace Godden. CM to replace Kelly. RB / RWB, and 2 CBs

We've lost 4 players in the last 2 games through injury (Binks, Tavares, Lati & Torp). Don't want to risk any more players getting a really serious injury e.g Bobby Thomas, who looked shagged on Weds night. Box Formation. Collins Back 3 of Sheaf, Kitching and Bidwell. MVE & Da Silva Wing...

    New number one needed

Collins has been at fault for a few goals recently, but he is a better keeper. Wilson looks a bag of nerves and uncertainty when the ball is played back to him. He was solid last season, but I don't remember a single game that he 'won' for us with a series of fine saves. We had a mean 5 man...

Palmer was much better 2nd half. 2/10 is lunacy.

I can understand the starting X1, but Dasilva is not a left forward, but was our best player when he went back to LB. Feel sorry for Godden. He’s not a lone striker in a defensive formation. You need a quick and physically strong player for that role. He is neither. Still think he could score...

He did last season. He was brilliant for the last 6/7 games on the run to the Playoff Final

Factoring in tiredness, and on the basis that Fabio is fit, I'd go for. Collins MVE Thomas Binks Bidwell Sheaf Eccles Torp Tavares Simms Palmer MVE, Sheaf & Simms off before the hour for Lati (RB), Kelly (CM) and Godden (ST)

Yep, they'd need to go together. AV says himself he's quite vocal with the manager which Robins obviously likes. Even if AV did stay, we would then need a manager who can work with him, and Robins would need to find a coach as good as AV. They have molded the club in their vision. If they...

Match Thread Coventry City - Hull City Match Thread - Wednesday 24th Apr

I would think the players will be bang up for it tonight after Sunday. The way they ended that game, but so cruelly lost on penalties. The question is fatigue of course. I would start strong as possible, with only a few changes, and use our subs wisely. We have some good cover on the bench with...

Interesting take on the reality of the promised land

When we go up.. At best we'll be a comfortable lower mid table team (like a Palace) for at least 6-10 years, with the odd flirtation with Europe, and a cup run or 2. At worst we'll do a Sheff Utd and be relegated by Christmas. Or we become a yo-yo club like Norwich, West Brom & Fulham.

    Ellis Simms

Strong, quick and a cool finisher. He'll play for England within 3 years I reckon.

    Luis Binks

That passion, from a player whose probably not played as much as he expected / wanted this season. I think he's signing for us in the summer. Brilliant man-management from Robins

He spoke really well. Gave us a lot of respect. Won’t bash him anymore. Like an old school sportsmanship you rarely see in football anymore

Brilliant today when he came on. Need to sign him up in the summer. Would be a good battle between him and Kitching for the shirt next season

    Fábio Tavares

Still think he will be a great player for us. He’s a. CF though. With Sakamoto and Mason Clark available next season, he needs to be challenging Simms and the Godden replacement for that role. Robins and Adi obviously rate the lad.

    Fábio Tavares

Yep, thought Dasilva was excellent today. He’s a good option at LB/LWB when chasing a game. A valuable squad player in other words.

Match Thread Coventry City v Manchester United - FA Cup Semi-Final

The arrogance of Man U throughout the match. For an hour we let them stroll around with f*cking Harry McGuire trying to be the playmaker. Then something clicked. proud of the boys today. Can’t help but feel if Palmer had been playing we win that match. All I wanted was us to run them close. We...

    Wembley team last time

Thomas & Kitching both better than McNally in my opinion. They are still a little naive, but are pure defenders. McNally could get bullied and his distribution wasn't great. Doyle was a fine player, but Man City aren't ready to sell, so he was never going to be a long term target. MVE miles...
