Byng still interested in the club

That may be the case but do we actually know that for a fact? We had the whole wrong sort of paper debacle and Ken going on the radio blurting out confidential information so we can be pretty sure some level of interest has been expressed. Its in SISU's favour for us to think they are the only...

Can anyone who was actually at the game tell us Elvis went off on one at him or it's just the way the photo's come out. Don't remember anyone mentioning it in the match thread.

    Leeds United similar to us?

What about the judgement against SISU for non payment of rent where the judge stated (to paraphrase) that SISU were withholding rent in an attempt to distress ACL. How would that stand up against a test for honesty?

    Supporters consultative group minutes?

Next season? I'm still worried about this season!

Byng still interested in the club

But what about those who defend SISU using the nobody else will ever buy us line? If everyone else kept quiet we'd all assume we had no other options as you can be sure SISU wouldn't be telling us what was going on.

    Relegation is a reality.

If we do go down can anyone see it spiralling and us doing a Portsmouth and struggling to stay in the league? Can't see many of the current first XI sticking around if we do go down and crowds at Sixfields could well drop below 1K. Can see relegation and another season out of Cov being the last...

City fans not as friendly at Brentford as at Sixfields?

The last two comments you quoted make no mention of wishing for anyone to die.

City fans not as friendly at Brentford as at Sixfields?

One of those comments advocates violence, the other two don't at all.

City fans not as friendly at Brentford as at Sixfields?

Not that I would condone violence but the guy is an absolute idiot to walk into a bar full of fans and not expect something to happen, after all you only need one person to do something. Depending on what actually happened he might have been lucky it didn't escalate and become a lot more...

    Relegation is a reality.

Next two games are massive. Couple of wins and things start to look a lot better. Couple of defeats and you have to worry about where we will pick up points after that. Looking at the teams around us a lot of them have games they could pick up points in over the next couple of fixtures. This...

City fans not as friendly at Brentford as at Sixfields?

If this actually happened how stupid is he to walk into a pub full of City fans? To be honest it's shocked me he hasn't had more hassle at Sixfields but if he's casually walked into a pub on an away day expecting everyone to be happy to have a nice chat he's crazier than any of us ever thought.

    The good news is.....

Maybe the Nuneaton away game will get moved to the Ricoh to cope with ticket demand :)

    Brentford match thread

Next 2 games are huge now, lose those and we could be in big trouble looking at the run of fixtures we've got following them.

    Bad news for City fans

You could easily get round that. If the FA and / or FL had forced SISU to clearly show why they couldn't accept the deal offered by ACL and why it was in the clubs best interest financially to groundshare and then build a new ground outside the city do you really think they could have provided...

    Geoff Foster

It's a fair point, on one side you have ACL who deal with lots of other organisations with no issues. They even got nominated for an industry award for being the best venue team to work with in the country (got down to the final 3). On the other side you have SISU who have fallen out with ACL...

    New Stadium financial viability.

That in no way stops SISU purchasing a 50% stake in ACL.

    Bad news for City fans

That's exactly what they should have done, called SISU's bluff. What option would SISU have had, they could have either agreed a deal to play at the Ricoh or walked away losing all their money. Sure some will say they could have liquidated the club but they did that anyway and 'new' owners were...

    Judicial Review thread

Totally agree with this. If SISU did due diligence, identified the issues but didn't think there was a problem then the blame lies with them. If SISU did due diligence, didn't identify the issues then the blame lies with them. If SISU didn't do due diligence then the blame lies with them...

    New Stadium financial viability.

What an odd stance to take, how could that ever justify everything SISU have done? Let's for a minute say that SISU wanted to buy the Higgs share of ACL and were blocked by the council (bearing in mind the information currently available to us suggests SISU walked away having agreed a HOT and...

Sky Blues legends fear they won't live to see club play again

I don't think they particularly get on at the moment do they? Didn't the FPA cut all ties with the club following the move to Northampton? Speaking of which how involved is the club with SBITC these days, can imagine having the club involved is more of a hinderance than a help the way most...
