    Star Wars

I really wanted to like it, but the ending is ridiculous. I do still watch it occasionally, but can only watch about an hour of it and don't have the stomach for the other 6 and half hours.

    Coventry city fans

Well yep, if you remember Cyrus Christie getting booked for tripping a fan who came on the pitch. Players can't take the law into their own hands. Understand why he did what he did, but that doesn't make it right.

    Best City XI of all-time - LM/LW

Stevie Hunt is my favourite all time City player. I thought he was best in the middle though rather than out wide, so I will vote for him for one of the central midfield roles. Has to be Tommy Hutch wide left. 60's.

    So, it now looks like

Well that's kind of my point. People say Oldham was a must win and then they said Chesterfield was a must win. Now they are saying Crewe is a must win. If we beat Walsall then Crewe isn't a must win and that's my point. I am happy with a draw on Saturday if we beat Walsall after.

The only team unbeaten at home out of all the divisions. Yes, I would say that is strong at home.

    Star Wars

The first film was dreadful though. Very good to the first hour and then a bag of dogs droppings for the remaining 4 and half hours.

    sh#t on the villa!

Nope, exactly and that is why we must stop singing the Sky Blue song. We can't sing about Tottenham and Chelsea or United either, because they are two leagues above us. Well said.

    So, it now looks like

No-one said anything about 'just beating the top teams.' Just saying Crewe isn't a must win. As I sated above, I would much prefer to draw against Crewe and beat Walsall, than to beat Crewe and draw against Walsall. All I am saying is that Crewe isn't necessarily a must win. Burton and Walsall...

    So, it now looks like

Ooh, too many ifs in there for my liking. I wasn't talking about losing to Crewe, I said a draw. Much rather we drew against Crewe and beat Walsall than the other way round.

    So, it now looks like

Hmm, maybe. I don't get though all this Oldham, must win, Chesterfield, must win, Crewe, must win. The games we really need to win are against our rivals aren't they? Burton and Walsall are the games we really need to be looking at winning. I don't mind at all if we draw at Crewe as long as...

    Dominic Samuel?

I would love him back. Strong and pacy and with a good eye for goal.

    sh#t on the villa!

Tottenham or Chelsea, United or anyone. They don't care about us either, but we sing about them every game. I'm just happy with the City fans singing. Much better than sitting in silence.

    Mr Tinkerman

    Perfectly and succinctly put. :)

    Now that we can

Not convinced on Lameiras. Rather inconsistent. I think he is a key member of our squad, but not necessarily a first team 11 starter each week. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

No, but 1 defeat in 15. Why wouldn't we fancy our chances on the back of that?

    Chesterfield (Away) Match Thread

We SHOULD fancy our chances through Wingy. Forget the past, we now have a good manager and we are 4th in the table and out of 24 matches we have lost just 4 times. I fancy our chances against anyone at the moment.

    Mr Tinkerman

I think if you speak to any manager they will always tell you, you have to be careful with kids as to when you play them and how often you play them for fear of burn-out. Armstrong is only 18. Obviously the idea today was that TM thought we could win the game without him and wouldn't have to...

    Chesterfield (Away) Match Thread

Indeed we are and Sheff Utd should have been at least a point and probably all 3 for us. You just can't win with fans though. Many posters calling for Armstrong to be dropped as he 'hasn't done anything of late,' 'is off form,' 'is tired.' As soon as we are losing in the game and not creating...

    Chesterfield (Away) Match Thread

And just to conclude, this 'bad' run has left us just 4 points off top place. I think some need a great big dose of reality. 4 points of top place is still a great place to be and as I say, we now have the January window to try and strengthen the squad further. Still all looking very rosy in...
