I think TM said he needed game time in the U21's. For away games could we consider Rose as well as Vincelot and Fleck? My understanding is he is a box to box player and neither Fleck or Vincelot are truly that.

    Ryan Haynes

I think the plan WAS to play Ricketts at full back wasn't it? I am not so sure Johnson would have been first choice left back. He's always looked all at sea over there. For me Haynes should go out on loan and get some game time. We simply haven't got the cover though to allow that to happen...

City Centre, what to go and what to build

As I have said Grendel, it is changing. Have you been in the city centre lately? Tiger has opened, Shuh and now Moss Bros. A number of restaurants sprouting up as well. Every time I go down I find it quite vibrant and busy. I think John Lewis is earmarked for the Friargate, train station...

I think we are in with an excellent chance of points. We shouldn't at all be scared of Walsall. They may have beaten Peterborough 2-0 on Monday, but the reports are that they scored 2 in the last 10 mins and it was very much against the run of play. Their first goal was a deflection too. When...

    Best City XI of all-time - LM/LW

Well I dare say I may well have picked him if I had seen him play more than a couple of times, but I didn't. Do you still want me to pick him anyway? ;)

City Centre, what to go and what to build

It's good that they are, but they need to get the balance right. I wouldn't say Cosy Club is aimed at students. Probably not Los Iguanas either. There's not many bars sprouting up, but there is in terms of restaurants.

But he hadn't been here long this pre-season. He didn't know how the squad was going to gel and pan out. Now he is in a position to know exactly what is needed. Expect him to act a lot quicker this time round.

    Ryan Haynes

Sorry Grendel, but how can you come to that conclusion? How is he using Haynes as a last resort? Stokes has been really good all season long and has deserved to keep his place. Haynes is back up and has been on the bench a number of times. If someone else was there ahead of Haynes and getting...

Me too. She is not the prettiest, but she is very sexy and still very attractive in her own alluring way. Bet she's a great kisser with those lips as well.

City Centre, what to go and what to build

The thing is with student accommodation in city centres is that if you have too much the cities can be like ghost towns when there are no students. They are many many weeks a year when the students go home. Old Axa building in Corporation St, now student accommodation. The new Bishopsgate...

    sh#t on the villa!

You would think so, but there's still lots of complaining about on the field stuff too (tactics, players, wrong formations, substitutions etc.) I am just enjoying this season so much, I really don't feel like complaining about anything. Losing only 4 games out of 24 is remarkable in Coventry...

    Crewe (Away) Match Thread

I think JOB will be in again. I think we need his urgency and energy, especially for tough away games. Crewe will battle, I think there is no doubting that. So, JOB in for Kent.

    Adam Armstrong's Loan

It is January 16th that Armstrong's loan is up. I think Kent is the same.

    Best City XI of all-time - LM/LW

Thanks Pete. Would have loved to have seen more of Ian Gibson and to have seen George Hudson play too. The first truly gifted player I remember for the City was Ernie Hunt. He was a genius at times.

    Ryan Haynes

I think all young players need a chance to develop. Haynes has been disappointing for me since he first appeared on the scene, but I wouldn't give up on him just yet. If we have the cover I would like to see him go out on loan somewhere to see if he can develop his game. I haven't given up on...

    Best City XI of all-time - LM/LW

I see he played 93 games in 4 years, so he must have been missing for large chunks at a time.
