    It’s the rating of Rudoni that in general puzzles me. He delivers consistently and has impact. I thought jds was fine today - but he generally is when there is no defending to be done.

    I’ve liked Lampards approach so far. Combine that with 7 points and it is a good start. I don’t think we’re really playing any better and found a way to concede today against a woeful side. But it’s not his squad so he has to squeeze something from what he’s got.

    A win is a win. Hull were abysmal. We weren’t that good. Some good play on both wings. Not much through the middle and nothing to really test the defence. Rudoni our best player followed by EMC

    Hull are absolutely dreadful. We are totally clueless. Bassette has to come off for Simms. Collins looks like a mascot in goal. Sheaf can’t make a pass. We’re grateful if Emc makes a 10 yard “burst”. It’s terrible

    Dovin - will be fine but surprised we went for that sort of character. Binks - odd one to pursue. Not good defensively. EMC - Fine, just needs to let the handbrake off. BTA - Fine, You don’t get double digit championship strikers for less than £2m Bassette - Fine.

    This is spot on. When either Sheaf or Eccles receive the ball the process is control it, take a touch, take the unnecessary touch, slow down to walking pace, roll to Thomas. Then repeat. Neither fizz the ball about or consistently move at a pace that doesn’t allow the opposition to set up...
