    Cup draw

I agree with the first part of the message but the bottom paragraph is a load of Tosh. He is not championship level. Having one amazing game doesn't mean you are at the level. It was like when Crewe's second choice/keeper coach had the game of his life against is in the JPT semi years back...

Match Thread Sheffield Wednesday - Coventry City [FA] Match Thread - Friday 26th Jan

Midfield was poor second half. Lats is a good shield but he's so limited in that position and it should only be in emg not his fault tonight before anyone has a go. But we were just bypassing the midfield all second half and giving the ball back to them. Not ideal playing them for a 3rd time in...

    Transfer targets

Eccles? Was that his year must be forgetting that! Incredibly common injury in football given the types of movements involved.

    Transfer targets

This is a bit of a obvious statement all muscle injuries are often from muscle fatigue for elite sport. It's also by in large unavoidable. On the whole our injury list has been much better managed this season.

    Callum contract offer

Agreed. That was also a very quick turnaround from getting into post in December, to carry out all the due diligence on the signings we have made must have been a huge effort. Now it is settled I'm confident we can find a player of quality, but important to remember it won't be an O'Hare.

“Celebrated like it was their cup final”

We are gonna have to beat what looks like 2 of those 4 teams anyway if we want to get promoted, so can't fear them. Think we have shown we can compete at least already.

    Callum contract offer

Well done, you have repeated something somebody has told you when he openly said on live TV. 'i love it here'

    Callum contract offer

agreed, but you need to also look at it that footballer players and particularly there agents realise this as well. Other teams will be looking at O'Hare and talking to his agent making it very clear what they save on the transfer fee can be spent on him, likely in a chunky signing on fee and...

    Ex Player Watch

The guys an idiot with a overinflated ego. He has been on every podcast going recently acting like he's the best thing since sliced bread. A decent lower prem striker for a few years, but the last person you would as a manager. I'm not certain he's going to have the tactical nous for the job...

    Ex Player Watch

Tbf he was never really 'class when he came through' very much a case of Mowbray saying what a player he would be but actually never did anything (I suspect it was a case of bigging up a young player for a few). A player that looked good on the eye and we benefited from an overinflated media...

    Ref

When you see the replay you do see the challenge is a bit too high. In real time I didn't think it was but having seen the replay back, it's how high Thomas' foot is that has gone against him.

    Ref

I think by the laws of the game both are right, but it brings up the debate about the rules running the game again. Thought the ref had a bad game in general though. Big decisions yes right by the book but he went against the laws when not giving out some early yellows to a couple of the...

Match Thread Coventry City - Leicester City Match Thread - Saturday 13th Jan

I can't be arsed to read back through the thread but this can't be genuinely the consensus on here of the first half? Barring one opportunity we dominated them even when they had 11 men. The penalty was a kick in the bollocks, but other than the casedi opportunity they created nothing.

Match Thread Coventry City - Leicester City Match Thread - Saturday 13th Jan

That is the hardest kind of game to win against 10 men. We didn't get to benefit from the chaos going down to 10 normally brings as it was just before half time. And you just know that they would put 10 behind the ball all second half. Would have been easy for us to panic and get a bit flappy...
