It's not compulsory. This is a football supporter's forum.

    Could 71 points be enough?

Bored today so, having looked through all the remaining fixtures of the play-off contenders, here is my forecast. I have assumed the top 4 will stay as they are. 5th Millwall 73 DWWWD - Preston (H) B'Ham (H) Wigan (A) Blackpool (A) Blackburn (H) current GD +7 6th Norwich 71...

    Championship 22-23

Preston have been there abouts, but it seems they have come from nowhere, but if you look at their recent fixtures there is possibly an explanation. Wins against Reading, QPR, Blackpool, Rotherham, and Cardiff, and sandwiched between, a thumping at Middlesboro. It will be interesting to see how...

Match Thread ⚽️ Queens Park Rangers vs Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 15th Apr

I think Watford have too much to do now and they seem fragile if they go a goal down. I think if any team can gatecrash the current top 6, it's now between 7th to 11th place, and I only include West Brom because they have played a game less.

    Next 2 games

Between Norwich in 7th and West Brom in 11th, all have identical form with 6 points over the last 5 games. That includes us and Sunderland. Millwall and Blackburn have worse form over those games, but Blackburn and West Brom have a game in hand. 5th & 6th up for grabs though.

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Watford Match Thread - Monday 10th Apr

Not over yet, but probably will be if we don't beat QPR. Norwich play Middlesboro and Preston play Millwall. If we can win on Saturday, Next Wednesday's game against Blackburn will be massive.

    Gyokeres switches to 'top' agent

Ok, I thought you were referring to the bit about not being up to championship standard

    Gyokeres switches to 'top' agent

I think he means Godden and Walker

    Gyokeres switches to 'top' agent

Could be any number of reasons he wanted to change, I think the idea of him running his contract down until the end of next season is doubtful though.

    What happened yesterday

How do you explain Huddersfield result yesterday, when we hammered them a couple of weeks ago. Sometimes these things just happen

Nice to still be in it at the right end of the table going into April

    PLAYOFF DEBATE

Yes, one injury to a key player could spell the end of our season. But I think if we have 12 or 13 fit players good enough, over a season that could never work, but over 8 games with a bit of luck? And we don't need to win all of them. We have kept up with Norwich, Watford, and West Brom over...

    PLAYOFF DEBATE

Yes, it's strange. West Brom and Watford are 5 points off 6th, both with a worse goal difference than us, but somehow they both have a better chance than us, according to some. West Brom do have a game in hand but they play 8 times in 29 days in April

    PLAYOFF DEBATE

We have 7 games in April, with our small squad, the 1 week rest we have just had may make the difference.

    PLAYOFF DEBATE

I see the point but personally I would think we will have benefitted more from a 1 week break than the possibility of that impacting on our form
