I don't know what you are basing them not being the best source for it on? I highly doubt there are more then a couple of sources who feed most websites. But if you say so I can't argue as I don't know. Even if you take the average of around 1.0 it still doesn't suggest much in terms of chance...

It's not 2000 anymore. It's a squad game it's a long season, and the reality is we don't know our best team yet other than 'on paper'. How do any players ever break through if you never actually play them. It's such a weird take on football in this day and age. Squad rotation is key.

Not really weird, each transfer is different and clearly one party involved wanted the details out there. This is pretty normal with how Agents work, to try and drive further market interest too.

The Gyokeres fee was because it has to legally be reported in Portugal. You were listing out fees which in England are very rarely reported. As on 1 in a 100 level of rare. The Simms add ons have never been officially reported.

They haven't been made public officially, these are fees that have been 'reported' but never made official. They are likely to be fairly accurate of course but we never know the make up of those fees especially (i.e. what is guaranteed and what is add ons).

The club isn't 'leaving it later' it's the realties of the transfer market. Every club wants to get business done early but it's not that simple. Look at the likes of Newcastle who have champions league football and deep pockets and they have struggled with their targets it happens up and down...

Two draws against two top flight teams is pretty decent results and in both we have looked probably the better side at least for decent periods. Confident that the season will be a good one with a couple more signings to really finish off the squad.
