With at least 2 bids in, Hull will know how keen we are. It makes sense from their point of view to hold out until Monday to see if there are any more bids from us or anyone else. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him leave Hull on Monday.

I think Simms would be ok in league 1 He has had just under two and a half seasons in the Championship and scored 26 league goals. In his one season in league 1 he got 8 in 21 games. He also scored 5 in 17 Scottish Premiership games. A top half team in League 1 would be ideal for him I think.

I think he owes you a pint for that advice.
