I can't remember my first game but it was early 60s. Some games in the 60's stick in my brain though, such as the game against Wolves in the promotion year and Curtis breaking his leg in I think the second game following promotion (against Forest). I remember going to Anfield and being attacked...
Yes, I think mid 80's gives us a realistic chance, 90 I think will almost certainly be enough.
Our run in gives us a great chance, it's all according whether FL can address our recent frailties, we should soon find that out.
I was just looking at the teams outside current top 2 that pose the most threat to overtaking us, I've consistently thought we will need 90 for top spot and 87 will likely be enough for auto promotion.
I really think 90 will be enough for top slot.
Ipswich need 2.29ppg to get to 90
Hull 2.25ppg
Millwall 2.5ppg
No team has averaged 2ppg so far.
And all the contenders have to play at least 2 of the other contenders
Our form really started to go downhill when BTA got injured, can't underestimate how important to us he was in his pre-injury form.
We have missed his pressing and energy as much as his goals, and it's no coincidence we haven't won away since he got injured.
If he can come back where he left...
Bristol C form from last 5 games is poor. 4 points (against Wednesday & Oxford) and 9 conceded. Besides which, there are 3 other away games, other than today's, they are against West Brom and Blackburn.
3 away wins and a draw I would be happy with, given our home form and who we play.
It's no...
Sakamoto probably remembers the treatment he got at Norwich previously, when their then manager Wagner admitted targeting him.

It was happening before the Charlton game, we were 2-0 down after half an hour against as poor West Brom and it could be argued we only won because they played the second half with 10 men.
Sunderland have spent big and are sitting in the top 10, even if they have deemed a player not good enough for them it doesn't mean he couldn't do a job for us. Our ambitions, should we get promoted are likely to be just about survival in the first season.
