Equalled last year's "once in a generation" run of results, need to win at Middlesbro to beat it. I'm quietly confident given our record against them.

Well ..all good things come to an end

I thought a couple of footballs at the entrance would improve it.

    Championship thread 25/26!

Some of our goals in that game were low Xg but that didn't look correct, hence why you can't reliably use the stats from 1 game, and should look at trends. We only had 8 shots on target and scored 7 of them, that in itself tells us it was an outlier. This link shows a breakdown of each goal in...

    Championship thread 25/26!

Our xG against Norwich was 4.02 to their 0.15. We didn't win that game but if we replayed it 10 times over with the same chances for both sides how many of those do you think we would win? That was game 5 and back then we were only 3 places above them, now it's 23 places, and the stats in that...

Oh! ok fair enough. I don't watch any BBC television so can't really make a judgement. Just based that comment on what I've read on BBC's own website re: whistle blower comments, high profile BBC resignations, and other news channels editorials.

    Bookies prediction

The crazy thing is 1.2 ppg from now (which is not much better than relegation form) would probably get us into the playoffs

This is what the BBC says about it (for those who still believe anything they say) Yes. Clubs can sign free agents - players who are not contracted to another club - at any time. However, unless there is space in a club's registered squad or the player is under the age of 21, new signings must...

    SBT is this true?

Exactly. I can't find any reference to it on the web. In fact I feel a fool for looking

I think it is something to do with they can be signed and play outside of the window provided they became a free agent prior to the previous window closing.

    For any remaining non-believers

That's a very interesting table, in 2 or 3 games time it's possible virtually every team outside the current top 2 or top 3 could require an extrapolated total of over 100 points.

    EMC

Something in the rules I didn't realise is that when a player suffers concussion or suspected concussion during a match, that team is allowed a concussion substitute, which is extra to the 5 normal allowed substitutions.
