If you can give me 10p for every time we have said that these past 15 years I'd be a very, very rich man.

Or maybe we just weren't very good.

    Winter olympics

No, the owner was a big fan of the Bill Cosby show, but the signwriter he employed was a little inattentive to detail.

    Winter olympics

Hopefully they will have Boxing on Ice and Stalactite Stabbing and Blind Slalom. I also think people should only be allowed to enter the Bobsleigh if their name is actually Bob. Do all that and I'll watch.

As far as I am aware though, there was no game between yesterday and today for them.

What year would you say has been the best ever year for song releases?

Certainly some good stuff in there. Think good years usually tend to come in trends of music and new styles, Mersey Sound, Flower Power, Glam Rock, Punk, New Romantic, Hip Hop, Grunge etc. Uusually a new movement brings with it new energy. At the moment we seem to be awaiting a new movement...

    Philip Seymour Hoffman

To be fair Houch, he was a junkie 20 years ago, but kicked the habit and had been clean for 2 decades. A bit disingenuous I think to just describe him as a junkie. He had built a life and a family. Seemed to had completely kicked the habit forever.

Substitions very late on in a game

Could be like American Football with the game clock up on the scoreboard, where the fans could see every moment the clock is stopped. Would put an end to a lot of this nonsense.

Impossible apparently, if you have someone like Alex Ferguson breathing down your neck.

Substitions very late on in a game

Could be a perception amongst managers that the ref's aren't always accurate with their time keeping and therefore they could possibly get away with taking some time off the clock. 30 secs is supposed to be allocated for a substitution, but that doesn't mean that refs are alloting that time...

Substitions very late on in a game

Well that's how I feel too, that it's a ploy to slow the pace down. Maybe it was just commentator talk then. Refs time keeping can be a bit dodgy at times though can't it.

Substitions very late on in a game

Man City v Chelsea. Mourinho makes 3 substitions late on in the game (82 mins, 92 mins, 94 mins). The commentator says of the last one, Chelsea making one final substitution trying to take some time off the clock. Right, well as we all know, time shouldn't be taken off the clock should it. The...

I personally think that Peyton Manning is slightly overrated. I know that is contentious, but I think that both the Manning brothers struggle somewhat when you put pressure on them. The great quarterbacks, such as Rodgers, have the ability to move about in the pocket to give them more time...
