Let's ignore the fact that you've got those in the wrong order. You are saying that the good news for holders of semi-final tickets is that they are still in the third sale period. But unfortunately almost everyone else is now too! I just don't get how you can possibly argue that they haven't...

No, but as I understand it, anyone who can find a ticket stub from any game at the Ricoh this season, or who has bought even a single ticket online (including for the next match) can buy 6. You think we will get to "general sale"?

Oh God. Both the previous Checkatrade and the Semi were downgraded to the same level as any home ticket, including this Saturday's match! 8th March is effectively "General Sale" IMO.

There are large numbers of Wembley games these days - play offs etc. so every season there 's a fair chance of it, unless you support Coventry City of course:) And as i said, every club doesn't have to build a points system, they all use pretty much the same software so it would be...

Just as it was quite clear on the CCFC the day before that, but with a completely different set of priorities! So it was a confused shambles - FACT (always wanted to say that in caps on here).

No, anybody who hasn't been to a home game this season will be laughing about the switch of priorities. Because they can now simply register on the CCFC website and buy a single ticket for Swindon to suddenly appear in the system as a loyal fan. Better still for them, they don't even have to...

Sorry Nick, genuinely mystified by this. Nobody would say that - it's quite simple, tickets for the semi were sold on the basis of a promise that was later dropped. Like I say, it didn't affect me, so why am I going on about it? The reason is that on 8th March there's going to be an internet...

But whereas they were promised a higher level of priority, now they are lumped in with anyone who has bought any ticket for the whole season (including this Saturday's match!). It's not a priority system, it's basically general sale isn't it?

Sorry Nick, I genuinely don't quite understand the Brighton point. Anyway, see my post No. 307 for the unfairness, which was absolutely blatant. Note to self: stop banging on about this Calista, you're alright, you're going to have Wembley tickets. Walk on by.

The clear set of Wembley priorities that was published just before the semi final as a way of making people buy tickets* was completely changed by the club after the event! If that's not making it up as you go along, I don't know what is. Surely nobody would defend that? * Again this didn't...

Just to add that as it happens, I am quite confident that I will have the tickets that I and my fellow lifetime fans need. Every post I have made on this topic has been about the principle of treating CCFC supporters fairly, not my narrow personal interests.

Not a moan, a very constructive suggestion I thought, which would help drive sales and attendances for CCFC (and all clubs) every year. And don’t presume to know my family circumstances, which have made buying a season ticket impossible for the last couple of seasons. You’ll find I’ve said a...

It makes you wonder why there isn’t a simple mechanism for fans of all clubs to earn points when buying tickets. When clubs get to Wembley, Season Ticket holders will always (rightly) get first go, but then it could pass on to other fans who’ve earned “gold” status based on their purchase...

I respect your opinion riyadhsktblue, I just think the balance is all wrong. For me, Wingy has it right. He’s starting from the point of how many tickets would be needed to give general fans (who can prove their attendance at relevant matches) a fair crack of the whip i.e. one ticket each, and...

Anyone up for a bit of bogus bidding? :D

Or make the punishment fit the crime and tip a litre of Johnson’s Paint over them?

Got to admire your cool about it Moff, well spoken. But can't help thinking your desire to get to this game is less than for many people. This feels like a once in a lifetime chance for a lot of the younger generation and families, who have only really ever known misery.
