Yeah I can agree there. If we were in NZ I’d be all for taking out time. But we are where we are really.

Yeah it’s a punt, but equally choosing to let people die if you’ve got a good idea this’ll work is equally a punt. Honestly think it’s the smartest thing they’ve done all pandemic and they’ll be justified. But as I said at the start, we’re all just guessing both ways until the data is in...

That’s an individual decision. The government have to take a population decision and on the stats even if it doesn’t work this prevents more deaths in the population.

You know the data better than me but all the evidence we’ve had so far (AZ trial, antibody presence in people who had caught COVID prior to first jab) is suggesting it’s the right reasoning. We have excellent data too. We’ve been running long term antibody tests so know a lot about how quickly...

Had a mate call me last night and ask if he should get the vaccine, been hearing all sorts about side effects apparently. Told him to stop being a twat and get the jab.

You don’t think if given the choice people would rather have a vaccine they can spread out? I’m really not sure why there’s so much pushback against the idea the CEO of a company might be biased about their own product. If he came out and said “it’ll be fine” and it wasn’t can you imagine the...

One because vaccine confidence is fragile generally and any kind of “it doesn’t work” is bad. Two, preliminary data suggests the AZ vaccine does work with that gap.

Missus says that doesn’t work. Apparently people turn up all the time using NHS booking links and they get turned away when they turn up because they aren’t staff.

He’s not without his own biases, if it doesn’t work it’ll harm confidence in his vaccine. Everyone’s guessing until we get the data in let’s be honest.

Don’t know if you’ve noticed but we’re a bit desperate up front. 17 year olds and people with mental disorders seem like viable options when you’re desperate.

    Hamer’s watch

I haven’t been earning my wage since I left school either. He will still earn money after football and in all likelihood make enough capital to do it through investments because he got a wedge up front. He also won’t be earning only £7.5k a week for much longer looking at him.

    Hamer’s watch

Gus probably earns say £7.5k/week give or take. Two weeks wages. Would be more like the average worker with a watch worth about £1k. Which TBF I know a few people who have done that and more.

No. It’s 5% over a year, not per game, normal risk is 3%. Probably higher in elite sports. Robins said 5% was normal, which tallies up. https://www.chop.edu/news/what-are-odds-tearing-your-acl-sports-you-play Edit: wait I’ve read that wrong. Too late. That’s 0.3% for people playing the sport...
