Armstrong needs dropping. Everyone has him down as the messiah but on current form he doesn't warrant a start. Then again we don't have anyone else...so catch 22. Even if Armstrong stays till the end of the season, TM needs to bring another decent option in the Jan window

Judging by TM Rose isn't ready yet for the first team. Will be drip fed in 2nd half of season it seems to understand the 'Jedi way'

He's out for the season now pretty much. Was good to see him in a Cov shirt again and scoring a goal. Selfishly we are short at the back with a strong centre back. Hope TM has something lined up for the Jan window

Right a thread to see what is needed to at least stay in the play offs by the end of the season. I think we need an experienced keeper like Joe Murphy... Central defender to replace Reda on perm contract. Something a bit different up front other than Armstrong. Something is missing...

I agree...Armstrong has been poor in the last few games. Unfortunately we don't have anyone better who will score goals so he is an automatic pick. Tudgay I like but won't get many goals. Then again TM doesn't want to play 2 strikes up front.

Murphy did nothing against Sheffield. Then again at home he has moments of magic. You don't know which Murphy will turn up on the day. Then again a lot of our players are inconsistent at the moment.

I would get another striker in even if Arma stays. Would really give us that push for the title.
