Chelsea’s naming rights and ground freehold are also held by supporters. Good enough for Abramovich it’s good enough for anyone else. You need to separate “the club” as a business and “the club” as a community entity. Sisu don’t own Coventry City’s culture, just the players and staff and...

Announcement on Ricoh future today - The Coventry Building Society Arena

Why? This would all have been priced into the rental agreement assuming someone more competent than a chimp negotiated it. You don’t get it twice.

Stadia are a bit separate as a physical asset. But things like the golden share just need EFL/FA rule changes. I fail to believe it’s an insurmountable task to get fan approval for fundamental changes to a club. The mechanisms are in place with Trusts and the like in terms of ownership models...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

That would be the crap you’re wiping off. You seem to have this childlike view of the world and think everyone acts according to some moral compass both publicly and privately. The world ain’t like that. Even superhero movies don’t pretend the world is as binary as you do.

    Dogecoin

It’s a meme currency. No one should be advising to buy doge. It’s a total bubble and some people will get burned, but if you’ve got the nuts and the cash some will make bank.

    Dogecoin

That would be my bet for one to end up replacing cash. Bitcoin is more like gold: good value store, too clunky for transactions.

Such lack of imagination here. Set up an organisation that has veto power on key elements of the club (golden share/stadia/naming rights/club badge/etc), supporters gain membership through season tickets or similar for those that can’t attend. No money has to change hands, no ownership...

I really rate him, especially for his age. I just think we need a better balanced player on the same level as the likes of O’Hare, Dabo, Hamer and James in terms of use of the ball.

42% in the oppositions half. Dabo’s is 60% for comparison. Long pass: 24% to Dabo’s 41.5%. It’s not just that either, he so often misses the forward pass and checks back to the defence. His crossing is poor. That said, he’s excellent in the air and in the tackle. He’ll make an excellent left...

It comes down to whether you see wingback as primarily an attacking or defensive position. Defensively he’s great, but he’s almost as poor going forwards as Giles is defensively. You need a Dabo who is a balance of both, two half left wing backs does not a whole left wing back make.

I mean at its core it definitely is. Left wing views are left wing views. Wipe all the crap off and there’s just someone who wants higher wages, better working conditions, more home ownership and education for more people and no one left behind. It’s the incessant squabbling about the other 99%...

About Labour’s voter coalition in 2017: I doubt it does. I just came across it on Twitter, like the above post and thought it showed that the centrists in Labour can be just as deluded as the rest about the electorate. As for the second bit, to most people “Boris” is a friendly shambolic...

A classic of the Labour comment genre: factually true, but electorally ignorant. This stuff cuts through.
