Ah yes I've seen that one now too. From the highlights, he's offside relative to Bidwell but it's impossible to say whether Kitching (slightly out of shot but deeper than Bidwell) is playing him on. Marginal either way.

The VAR guys aren't using the TV to make the call. Sadly in the crucial split second that counts, Haji stuck his foot out and was offside, as pictures posted by me and others showed at the time.

Yes, but I'm talking about multiple comments since the match blaming the lino for being 'behind the play', when the various pictures show he'd have to be a magician to be in line with both of the passes in question.

So we've got this still of the lino being perfectly in line to make the (correct) first call. Then people are moaning that he hasn't kept up with a sprinting championship forward (simultaneously watching the players on the pitch the whole time of course) to again be level when the second pass is...

    Cov v Stoke

He was fine, nowhere near as bad as people made out, and as you say the main reason was the fact that both the club and the Championship were new to him. His ability was clear enough to see, and he was unlucky not to get a few goals, but as is depressingly common on here, he got rated as a...

They are both good enough players to switch sides IMO, including during a match.

The ghost of O’Hare finally laid to rest?

Ran all day, and a brilliant player in tight spaces, but no ability to really strike a ball. Hence the feeble shooting and lack of crossing. Rudoni delivers more.

    This run

Reading this forum anyone would think we’d been whipping boys at the start of the season. Things weren’t clicking, but there were loads of reasons - recruitment falling short on numbers in the summer, Sheaf out, having to play an unfit Torp after he missed pre-season, Kitching on the naughty...

I'd say the same about those ranting and raving about everything and anyone earlier in the season. So much unjustified panic and pessimism after every little setback.

There really isn't a bias, and in any case it's barmy to think the VAR people could somehow have the identity of the teams hidden from them.
