    Last Season .....

Remain where we are now and it will all be hunky dory. Only way fans will now get on the manager's and team's back will be if we completely lose the plot and go on a really bad run of say 5 or 6 defeats in a row. That's not going to happen though I think. No team has totally outplayed us...

One last piece of the jigsaw to make it all complete?

Samuel and Armstrong would be the dream team. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

Fans on the side with murphy 2nd half

If he's got a twin brother can't we sign both and then we can play one each 45 mins. We will then get a complete, devastating, unplayable 90 mins from them, or a whole match of nothingness.

    Last Season .....

Yep, totally agree. We will be short changing ourselves if we say we are aiming for the top 6. We have to think in terms of automatic promotion.

One last piece of the jigsaw to make it all complete?

Isn't Morris more in the vein of a Vincelot player though? Thought he was supposed to be a holding, defensive midfield player rather than a playmaker. I know Fleck is a lot more defensively minded these days, but he is still a playmaker too with a varied range of passing. Not seen enough if...

One last piece of the jigsaw to make it all complete?

I think if we had Samuel and Armstrong in the same team we would be smashing teams at times. A mouthwatering prospect for sure. And Stu, if we are say top of the league in Jan, Armstrong might tell Newcastle he wants to stay longer anyway. The player's views will surely offer a small degree of...

One last piece of the jigsaw to make it all complete?

We are much more potent with Armstrong in the team. No-one can deny that. Also, Tudgay has missed a number of gilt-edged chances, where he was expected to score. Just saying you need as many weapons in your armoury as you can get.

Nope. This is why police have to dot all the i's and cross all the t's in future. Make sure they get witness statements from everyone and look at all evidence. There seems to be evidence that was not submitted at trial. Not fair for any rape victim to have to go through all this and then have...

Surely she could sue for defamation of character couldn't she. If the conviction remains safe and he has been slinging mud around, then she would have a great case for damages.

One last piece of the jigsaw to make it all complete?

My fear is that should Armstrong get sent off (missing for 3 games), or get injured for a few weeks, it's going to be tough to suddenly go out and find an emergency loan striker capable of 15-20 goals. Of the people who have seen Lateef Elford-Alliyu , what do you think of him? Is he a goal...

Thing is Grendel. it is irrelevant what Evans' clan want. You would surely have confidence in the legal appeal process to be conducted correctly and properly. What Evans' followers want is totally irrelevant. As long as the appeal is done all above board then justice will prevail. It's all...

One last piece of the jigsaw to make it all complete?

Well yeah, but Maddison can be seen as more a replacement for Ryan Kent, rather than Armstong. Armstrong is the one true goal-getter we have. Armstrong looks well on course to bag 20 goals. What we need now is someone to compliment that. A striker capable of 15 goals plus. We are not going to...

One last piece of the jigsaw to make it all complete?

I would say now that the one thing we could do with to complete the jigsaw is another goal poacher to compliment Adam Armstong. As soon as Armstrong is missing we do struggle to score goals. Everything else in the the Sky Blue garden is now beginning to look a lot more rosy again. Back...

Yes agree and I assume that might well form part of his defence. Agree on the last point too. I can't see it being relevant at all unless she has previously made false rape allegations, but if so, then the police would obviously have had record of it.

I'm getting forgetful in my old age, but if she wasn't claiming rape, why was it that she went to the police again?

Was hoping the clue was in the title 'Ched Evans.' As he doesn't play for Coventry City, you would possibly have come to the conclusion that this thread now has nothing to do with Coventry City Football Club and therefore you would choose simply to not click on the thread.

Yeah, but in a trial don't you have the right to try and prove whether someone is a relaible and credible witness or not?

As I said before, Nick, had that been a bloke with a girl, rather than a woman with a boy, it would have been a completely different outcome.
