    The Ashes

It has to be said, NZ were a breath of fresh air and the tests and one dayers overall, were played out in great spirit. This Ashes could quickly turn nasty and ugly.

Yeah, it seemed to be short ball as plan A and then if that didn't work, stick with plan A.

    The Ashes

I think the cavalier, all guns blazing attitude we had in the one dayers will be totally replaced by ultra caution, with Cook at the helm. Sometimes you just have to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and dictate, rather than approach the game with caution.

The fire station would be great too.

    New Ice Cream Place

No, agree. It is a slightly odd location and not the best in terms of passing trade. One of the empty outlets in Trinity Street would have been a better option I would have thought.

Yep, a few years back now.

    New Ice Cream Place

The Swanswell is beautiful, but it does seriously need cleaning up and families are put off by the few drunks and down and outs that hang round there.

Lickety Lick actually have 2 shops in Coventry, not just 1. One is in Far Gosford Street and one in Earlsdon. This new place is right next to Swanswell Pool and has great views of the pool from its windows. Also, as some have said, really close to City College and about 20 seconds walk from...

Back to Court on Wednesday 8th July 2015

Is this a Sisu case here? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Hwop7hHJWQ thought it might be, cause they batter people in court.

Friendliest town or city in England

Bedford. It was lovely by the river and I could gladly move down there, but in the town centre it was like The Hills Have Eyes.

    Godiva festival

Would have fitted in perfectly with the Fun Lovin Criminals on Friday night singing 'Smoke em, smoke em, smoke em if you got em, if you ain't got em you've hit rock bottom.' Could be B&H's new motto.

I would pay £10, no problem at all, especially if it was a weekend pass for all 2 and half days. We go anyway, even if I hate all the bands on, which of course has never, ever happened, as there is always something for someone. There's just so much to do there and we never get to see everything...

50 Reasons to Not Visit Coventry

I would say I go to the transport museum and Herbert, 3 to 4 times a year, each, so not a great deal, but then they are there for everyone and most definitely for tourism too. How many people who live in London go to the Tower of London, or on the London Eye, or to visit St. Pauls? AS JD says...

50 Reasons to Not Visit Coventry

I'm never there late, Nick. No later than 8. Wouldn't go closer to the witching hour. But then I wouldn't either in Brum, or Manchester, or Liverpool, or many parts of London.

Think I look more like Julian Clary than Jason Statham to be honest. More Wincey Willis, than Bruce Willis. More Barney than Arnie.

Another odd one. My daughter went to drama for 2 years at Sidney Stringer, directly across from the Kasbah and I would sit in my car or go for a bit of a wander round and I never encountered any problems anywhere. I'm beginning to think that maybe I am invisible.

We never queue. If they say come back in 40 mins, we book the table, but only as a contingency and go and look elsewhere.
