    No Game Tomorrow

Fair play to Nick. Didn't know we had a Rooney emoji on here. Almost as bad as Bongo cam and the cringeworthy stadium announcer. He actually said yesterday: "make sure you smoke your cigarettes before entering as you won't be allowed back in if you leave". This was over the PA... inside the...

    New manager salary

Thinking Willis. In L1 2k per week is a very good wage. Might be the odd one or two on a bigger wedge. In L2 it's even lower. A club a couple of years ago paid 3 or 4 players a grand and the rest £3-400.

    England malta

We could've had one, Ross Barkley. Unfortunately he was poorly managed at club level by a clown until this summer and spends too much time on the weights.

    New manager salary

Robbins was on 100k. Pressley 120k. So both around the 2k per week mark. Not sure about Mowbray. That's probably slightly above average at this level.

Club shirt at an international, half scarf and a wave. 3 prison worthy offences. Don't even joke about such appalling behaviour.

Boring, uninspiring and a poor game but we got the win. Would rather they lowered the tempo in the second half at 2-0 and not risk injuries with a far more important game on Tuesday. Hogg was probably their best player. Wasn't great at keeping them in his gloves but made some great stops...

They're my team mate. No more of a fan or more obsessed than anyone else.

Love an international break! Wish there was more of them.

Tolerating (barely) Wembley for the evening before staying overnight in London. Flying out to Slovenia Sunday morning.

The only time that happened that I can think of was during our time at Sixfields. The club didn't intend to do it. It just happened. Likewise with Cov and Sphinx. Understandably with an extra few quid in the pockets of 8-10000 people every fortnight attendances went up everywhere. I even know of...

Something sensible spills out once every few months. Hope I didn't go on too long!

    Early retirements

One of England's biggest losses to early retirement was Dean Ashton. Would love to have seen how much he would've been worth and how many international goals he would've scored if he played on for a few more years.

Jonno! As painful it was for you it was great for us. In fact it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen!

    coventry united (ccfc related)

How can anyone not love non league? Westfields are 7 points clear at the top after 9 games.... with 4 games in hand! Some relatively good players in that league. Cov United aren't actually doing that bad. They've only played 7 games. If they continued at around 2 points a game they'll be on...

48 team World Cup. Good or Bad?

This would be the better way of doing it if they are going to go bigger. I would've rather had 4 groups of 6 with 2 going through from each in the summer and allow slightly bigger squads. At least we would've gone out in the Quarters rather than the R16 :D

48 team World Cup. Good or Bad?

It's in an article I read some time ago. Could've been an FA or Uefa email.

48 team World Cup. Good or Bad?

Possibly not but one from the San Marino/Luxembourg level will. If you don't qualify automatically you go into a group with all the teams from the other groups that finished in the same place as you. They all play each other and the winner goes through. E.G. the 6th place teams (out of 6) all...

48 team World Cup. Good or Bad?

Might sound odd but 32 teams is much better than 24 for fans. Much easier to plan. 24 means 4 possible routes from the group stage to the final. 32 would mean there are only 2 routes. Main issue is the quality on display. There are at least 10 teams (Andorra, San Marino, Scotland, Luxembourg...

48 team World Cup. Good or Bad?

It's a terrible idea. Why bother with qualification. Might as well allow all 200 plus teams in and have a massive league for a decade or so. We've already got a guarantee that someone from the Luxembourg, San Marino and Andorra level of teams will qualify for the next Euros. Now that's an even...
