Getting there then. I do think if we can bring in a couple of decent players soon, they'll get another 2-3K imo and hopefully bring it up to 8,000 overall.
I hope so anyway.
What don't you understand Wheelfass. After 8 years of Sisu's leadership, you're meant to stick your head in the sand and blindly spend money on the basis of a lick of paint at Ryton.
If you don't do this, you're negative and not a fan of ccfc.
What's the point in a tour for the squad to bond / "gel" when we haven't got a squad?
I'd be worrying about getting the players in first, otherwise we'll have the usual excuses after 5 games without a win of the team needs time to gel...
I swear a couple of seasons ago, there was a rule you had to have 5 English/British players in the starting 11 or matchday squad? Can't remember the exact ruling, but it was swiftly forgotten.
Knew there was something along them lines.
Will be interesting to see what happens with Chelsea. But surely their turnover being a worldwide brand will help even if he does ask for money back.
Not fussed either way tbh. We can always bring in a leader a centre back in this league, plenty out there.
If reda does sign, I'd prefer it on a performance/ appearance type of contract.
Yes?
That's why I said both require investment?
I don't consider Southampton the same as Chelsea / Man city purely down to what you've written: their academy.
I'd like to see CCFC bring through quality players and keep them for at least a few seasons to support the first team, then...
I would prefer the Southampton route to the Chelsea/Man City regimes. Get the club on a good foundation then build from there. Even a regular top 6 Prem team would be enough for me, and challenging in the FA Cup.
Either way, it'd require INVESTMENT...
Just seen a pic of the back of the new shirt. Looks horrific. The front looks fantastic, but it's ruined by that plain second shirt stuck to the striped shirt.
