Was the £113 m gross, or net of the land sale to Tesco? IIRC the whole thing was going to be pretty much cost neutral.

I had looked back at agenda papers for August 2021. It states clearly that it this is a LOAN for the building of an hotel. As you know D. Richardson basically is Moonstone, who own Wasps holdings. This is nothing to do with the £13 m GRANT application. This money would never go through Wasps...

I know for a fact you can still donate to the defunct charity which was struck off for failing to file accounts

They can’t use that money for something else, and the money wasn’t for Wasps anyway.

They are not getting it. it’s a loan for the hotel That’s not been built yet.

    Back in 2017

The decision to sell was correct, the process by which it was achieved was incorrect. If the deal that Wasps were offered behind closed doors had been made available on the open market, who knows what price might have been achieved. NEC might have been interested in 250 year lease, CCFC almost...

It would be a loan which would need to be repaid and it may be to Moonstone not wasps. Given it was granted before the current wasps financial fiasco and work hasn’t started it may never get transferred and remain unused.

I have looked back to Aug 21. It is for the hotel

I have looked back. The dashboard from August 21 shows this £12.2 million as being for the hotel. Funds remain committed but not drawn surely if they aren’t building the hotel, the funding should be redirected elsewhere (anywhere but Wasps).

It won’t finish Sisu, it would probably finish CCFC

And so it wasnt competitively market despite their being two potential buyers. Surely if you are after the best price, you don’t exclude a potential buyer just because you don’t like them very much. And if SISU had put in the best bid, none of the other bollocks would have happened.

Was the arena competitively marketed with a 250 year lease? Like hell it was. So nobody knows what the best deal for taxpayers might have been.

That’s not necessarily a bad thing though is it. A third party landlord wouldn’t put one parties needs above another so possibly more even handed. Wouldn’t have Wasps bonds round their necks. You don’t think it makes sense for CCFC to own this stadium so wouldn’t 3rd party ownership potentially...

Wasps can’t afford the repayments have SISU got that sort of money that isn’t already accounted for, given no cash coming in.
