if the funds raised were used to pay the bondholders, they wouldn’t have any hold over the main asset. I wonder if HSBC stepped back when they saw that recovery from the security wouldn’t be entirely straightforward as the headlease is supposed to return to the council if Wasps went bust.

Going into admin is given in the bond prospectus as an example of something that could trigger action by the Trustees. However, the trustees have recently reminded bondholders that it is just an example, it is not a given that they would take any action in that circumstance. Makes you wonder...

I don’t think 6.5% was exceptional at the time. The security (the stadium) was certainly an attraction.. I’m sure you will have seen bondholders suggest that interest of 13 to 20% would need to be offered now to reflect the current perceived risk. Intereatingly (or not!) there were 17,000...

From bondholders forum Same as 1bolivar, I have been following the board for months but did not have much to contribute. I hold quite a substantial amount (though not as much as Ozzie) so I registered with the trustees and re-joined FB to be able to stay in touch with the group. Like everyone...

Consent solicitation supposed to be issued in August, so two working days left. One bondholders has expressed a personal opinion that nothing will come out. That will seriously piss them off.

From bondholders Forum a success fee only solicitor would solve the problem of being organised and providing funds. Yes we would lose part of our claim but I think that would be preferable to being given the runaround by Richardson. Others have posted serious questions about how some of the...
