I agree wholeheartedly. I think there was some loyalty to CCFC involved ( family history ). A pity that they are now being maligned for it by some supporters on here. If anything they have potentially put their head on the block and should be praised by the fans, if not the charities commission.

Look at the books of ACL to see how much they send to the council. If the council are wallowing in money because of the Ricoh, then fair play to them, ( they are not btw), because that would be saying that they made a great decision on behalf of council tax payers - and not offshore tax dodgers...

That is true, but that would be necessary to start open negotiations. It is often the case that in conflict situations both sides put down their weapons when entering serious negotiations. CCC would have been giving up their "weapon" as well. The JR involves potentially costly and time consuming...
