When we sell Wilson in the summer ...

Come off it. It should be clear to everyone here that neither ACL nor the council went on a rent strike to break a lease agreement. SISU did that and then claimed that the anchor tenant of a purpose built football stadium "Coventry City Football Club Ltd.", was in fact a defunct property...

    Question for Mr Jan Mokrzycki

So we have a mischievous email which has not been confirmed as genuine. It seriously maligns Jan. ML didn't, theoretically post it - so he's clean, but the damage is being done. ( probably the plan ). The trust should really put their house in order. They are leaving themselves open to attack...

It’s time to say goodbye to Coventry City

I agree wholeheartedly. I think there was some loyalty to CCFC involved ( family history ). A pity that they are now being maligned for it by some supporters on here. If anything they have potentially put their head on the block and should be praised by the fans, if not the charities commission.

It’s time to say goodbye to Coventry City

What about the poor little lambs who are at present bleating about ravious landlords and CCC not wanting to join in ripping off the shareholders of the Yorkshire Bank and of being exploited by the wicked ACL? CCC and ACL being amateurs in comparison to the Expertise of SISU ( theoretically ). I...

It’s time to say goodbye to Coventry City

Did I say that? It's ok for SISU to want the best for SISU. But that is not the best for CCC ( who represent my home city ) nor is it necessarily the best for my favourite football team. The football club should have bought into ACL. They didn't and they sold the F&B rights. SISU have made bad...

It’s time to say goodbye to Coventry City

ACL are a stadium management company who only want what is best for their owners - CCC and Higgs ( Higgs was supposed to have been bought out by the football club ). The football club was an anchor tenant who only want what is best for the football club ( in theory - but SISU want their...

It’s time to say goodbye to Coventry City

Look at the books of ACL to see how much they send to the council. If the council are wallowing in money because of the Ricoh, then fair play to them, ( they are not btw), because that would be saying that they made a great decision on behalf of council tax payers - and not offshore tax dodgers...

It’s time to say goodbye to Coventry City

Didn't the council step in to ensure the stadium got built? Weren't the club supposed to buy into ACL via Higgs at a later date? Didn't the club sell the F&B rights? If so, how was the club exploited? The club is now a different entity to the club run by local businessmen interested in Coventry...

    Our situation

Unfortunately true. Was once a Social thing in Cov. Go to the game meet your mates and fellow Fans. A bit of Entertainment. A Club to be proud of - just for being Premier League Even if they struggled. I am watching the demise from abroad. Used to look forward to seeing City in Cov on my visits...

    CCFC Announce New Sponsor

It shows they are trying hard by playing their matches in another city. I think they are just happy for a few quid.

MEP makes fraud claim against council over Ricoh funding

Stunningly enough, she got to meet Joy. I respect Joy enough to expect that she had someone Google Nikki before the meeting. She must have known about " disloyalty" "publicity seeking" and "allegations of corruption". The council ignore this nut, but the hard nosed business woman with over...

Would you take relegation if it meant the end of Sisu ?

We will be relegation contenders with SISU anyway, so to be definately relegated and loose SISU would be a good call. Yes. Then hope for a successor that wants sporting achievement - e.g. Red Bull who use human achievement ( including in football ) to promote their product. They have Salzburg...

2½ times our points deduction in the last 8 weeks.

Was not the deal in question to deliberately distress ACL and then tell the YB the had to accept 5 million or get nothing back from their loan? ( I think that was the gist of it ). In that case there may have been other factors involved in the decision to "renege" e.g. legality or potential...

2½ times our points deduction in the last 8 weeks.

That they would be happy having the lease broken, but the JR dropped is pure conjecture. I don't think they are happy at all, but wanted to open negotiations by dropping their non acceptance of the CVA. SISU then preferred the point deduction to keeping the 10 points and doing a short term deal...

MEP makes fraud claim against council over Ricoh funding

That is true, but that would be necessary to start open negotiations. It is often the case that in conflict situations both sides put down their weapons when entering serious negotiations. CCC would have been giving up their "weapon" as well. The JR involves potentially costly and time consuming...

MEP makes fraud claim against council over Ricoh funding

To be fair, changing sides is nothing new for Sinclair, as are corruption accusations. Les Reid has vanished from the planet..that is strange. Robins had asked for assurances from Joy, which were not forthcoming, so, strange if he then slagged of ACL who are only the landlords and cannot give...

MEP makes fraud claim against council over Ricoh funding

That is a good question.. which they don't seem to answer. They just change their tactics and start slagging the council, but never say I have come to the conclusion that Joy is right because....... and then give us the conclusive answer. Why indeed? Strange.

Sky Blues turn down accounts discussion

Why can't they just talk about the things that they know most about with the trust? Hopefully their own finances. The ACL/ CCC policies are nothing to do with ML. The constant digs at them seem to be a distraction from the real questions. Which are? - from my point of view: What is the SISU...
