    Sixfields - you'll like this!

aren't SISU moving us to Warwickshire anyway? Are you for that?

    Sixfields - you'll like this!

Were they actually told that ( hell would freeze over ), or did that Phrase turn up in an email or council paper? Genuine question.

    Sixfields - you'll like this!

I think Tim scuppered that ( Healing ) with his confirmation that the JR and the stadium were going ahead - and he doesn't bluff. "The door is always open" - AL, Council Leader. I would have kicked the door open in their situation and not say, "oh, I didn't realise that the lease wasn't up for...

    Sixfields - you'll like this!

No. I am saying that, if our defenders leave Oldham's strikers with an open goal, we shouldn't blame the striker who scores the goal. We should blame the defenders - it's their job not to leave an open goal. In other words don't blame landlords or Wasps for our owners' failures.

Some people blame the landlords for Wasps being here - but they are as guilty as Northampton are for the Performance. The real Culprits are the owners. The Buck stops there.

Exactly. The same goes for the demise of CCFC.

    Sixfields - you'll like this!

No. It's who can we blame for our demise? Instead of the blindingly obvious - the people in charge of the club and it's destiny - let's attack the ex-landlords ( Northampton and ACL/CCC ). The New problem though, is the team Performance- how do we blame them for that? I'm waiting.......

The same as "why all the anger at Wasps?"

A measure of lost intrest in CCFC...

If they were Bayern München, but I think we now know that we won't have won anyway without even looking. I have the cutting of" brave Coventry crashing out of Europe" on the wall in my pub - refers to the time we actually beat Bayern at Highfield Road ( ok Bayern weren't too bothered as they had...

    No good sacking Pressley....

Progress on our new stadium has yet to start because we don't have a site - or anything else for that matter. ( Sorry, we have 1 picture ).

    No good sacking Pressley....

They didn't gift the club millions and millions. They made a bad investment and blew millions and millions, got the club relegated, lost the JR and allowed Wasps to sneak into the Ricoh whilst concentrating on litigation and a bullshit stadium. Yes, I do expect them to leave - quietly or...

    Time to Go Sisu.

Did you see anything apart from a stadium "bowl" and talk of a training ground coupled maybe with a hot dog shop and a MCDonalds or similar in SISU's plans? What asset is that for anyone other than a league 1 or 2 football club? Who would possibly help build a stadium outside Coventry - knowing...

    Time to Go Sisu.

Both of you make valid points at times. It is a pity that you both have resorted to insulting each other. Labovitch said many things. I have never met the guy, but from what I have seen/ read he seems to be füll of it. The point is that Joy did start of on the "freehold or nowt" track and the...

Living in a block of flats

and you follow city as well..... no end to the gloom. I live in a flat above my pub and the neighbours are complaining about the noise from the smokers outside - who laugh and talk until late at night. So I am the bad guy here and have to stop people laughing and talking after 22:00.... Not...

    Les Reid Update

I am not detached. I am following this with more emotion than you maybe understand. City was my youth. To take my favourite team drag it to the third division, blackmail my home town and spout on about moving the club to a small town or village nearby in a smaller stadium - takes something from...

    Les Reid Update

I was showing my allegiance - sometimes in difficult circumstances ;-) in the 70's and early 80's - a long time before some on here. Even got arrested in West Brom - for helping CCFC fans who had been wrongly pulled out by the cops. They got away and I got booked - I still am in my own way over...
