WASPS press conference from the Ricoh at 10am

i think, and there it is in black and white, would-be sponsors look at the ambition of a club, and that's why I am so against CCFC's continued stance that they are moving to smaller premises somewhere near Coventry = no ambition. That was the pre- Wasps stance, so we cannot blame Wasps for that.

Question for Grendel, Nick, Torch etc...

The stalemate is Broken. New Chances, new risks. TF still sticking to same old crap, but the Situation has changed. Not interested in What SISU would have done - only interested in their next move. The P.i.T.S. Stadium would mean League 1 or 2 forever and is therefore not a Real option- just...

    Chuffed with the news.

I too see it as positive. Rugby is going a different way to football and the move will - probably - be an upwards one for Wasps. CCFC are fucked with SISU and their smaller village stadium plans. This Deal will Force the issue for City - hopefully in a good way. Fisher's pathetic, almost funny...

A point and a terrific perfomance say's Elvis

Unfortunately I am working all day, every day and in another country. And no, I will not be loaded as I am in a nasty tax inspection....But from what I have read on here and the result I have seen, I think we have a long way to go. I cannot offer any comment on performance and can only make...

A point and a terrific perfomance say's Elvis

Is that the only reason why we are in league one? Some/ many want an end to the stalemate - and I am one of them. Let's hope something happens on the ownership front. Legal battles and the prospect - however remote - of the P.i.T.S. Stadium are nothing to look forward to.

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

Yes, a laughing matter. Fancy that, people being interested in facts.

SCG/ Garlick Stadium group to merge?

Wasps will be pleased to hear that. Saved them having a stadium group. Maybe Garlick can carry on with them

"Let’s be clear, we absolutely want the football club to stay at the Ricoh"

That is an important point. The same as if another SISU company were to buy the shares or a new stadium and make a profit from Rent to anyone, e.g. Wasps and CCFC, and F&B etc., or Otium/ CCFC were to buy/ build and make a Profit primarily from the success of CCFC. If it is the owners, not the...

    So who owns WASPS?

Thanks. Will do. You should call people idiots more often if you enjoy it so much - oh wait..... You do that anyway.

    So who owns WASPS?

Calling me an idiot for questioning a dodgy post proves your superior intelligence. Good lad.

    So who owns WASPS?

Yes quite right. Only an idiot would question a post claiming inside knowledge.

    So who owns WASPS?

Can you name your source? Are the council allowed to turn down viable offers ( e.g. From SISU )? Does your source know of an offer from SISU? Who at the council has "sell to anyone but SISU"?

    So who owns WASPS?

interesting. How come the council gave that assurance? Did they see Wasps coming long ago? Do they have to grant permission to sports clubs who want to set up in Cov? Are they allowed not to give permission without a reason ( apart from a deal with rivals )?

    So who owns WASPS?

I think it's bollocks as well, but it is official policy and ACL have to take it as gospel as if they don't and it does actually take place then they could be in big trouble. If we are wrong and it does take place, we just say oh fuck..., and that's it. If it is bollocks and SISU want to make an...

    So who owns WASPS?

Have not seen the link.... Have been doing other things ( like work :-( )

    So who owns WASPS?

i agree with you, but where are SISU. Deathly quiet. Either they are brilliant, and are involved, or are crazy ( or rather bonkers ). I want a solution as much as anyone, but the insistence on the stadium and the JR are not helping. They could have suggested a trade off a long while ago - e.g...
