    Career Damage......

I agree. I like Pressley, I think his intentions are honest and I think he has promise. However that does not mean he isn't accountable. But not the only person accountable. I have pointed out player responsibility on another thread. i was glad he got a new contract, but a 4 year one in...

The Philosophy / System of the Group (3-5-2)

SP is in a difficult situation right now that is for sure and I don't know whether he has the skills or experience to turn it around? The formation is irrelevant, whatever formation was used the results would have been the same. It is too easy just to blame SP and the biggest fault lies with...

    Oldham Match Thread

    Individual mistakes still gifting goals.

My thoughts on what CCFC should do (but won't)...

We have plenty of players who have played over 100 games, several more who have played 50 odd games. Hardly inexperienced. to me it comes down to confidence, self belief and desire and sweet FA to do with formation. It is time players individually and collectively took some responsibility for...

    Oldham away predictions

I think we will see a real battling performance, not a pretty one and come away with a 1-1.

Coventry Blue and whites for me.

last year our goals were conceded from a porous midfield that kept giving away possession...if in doubt have a look at the video footage. but I stand by my point a dominant keeper builds a confident defence.

    It's all a blame game.

Factor in the amount of times we have just avoided relegation and it shows sacking managers just brings a short term fix. The fact we have had such a turnover of Managers and no continuity around tactics etc., players going in and out of favour, is why we have performed so poorly over the...

And we should not under estimate the confidence a dominant keeper can bring to your central defenders.

Promotion's not in SISU's interest, but relagation is.

Or how much they need to take out first to get their return. :thinking about:

    If CCFC were a restaurant

I've seen better vans in lay-bys.

Promotion's not in SISU's interest, but relagation is.

I think they are reluctant to invest further. They have got on top of the financial side. All that points to us staying in this division and possibly one of the weaker sides.

I'd just like to watch a good game....

This is what has really put me off the last few years, even when we were in the Championship TOTALLY DULL FOOTBALL by both sides. It does not merit the outlay in time let alone cost. I can watch better football played by amateurs for free in the Memorial Park on a Saturday and Sunday...

    What we lack

I think you would find Barcelona would do very well in league 1.

    What we lack

It was always obvious Tudgay and Swanson were gambles and given our situation in the summer probably worth taking. The three from Bournemouth seemed to come as a package tied to the Wilson deal. A sort of add on to the fee and they might come off for you. letting Murphy go (when he was happy...

Or try Coventry Rugby, another excellent home win against highly rated Richmond yesterday.

    Pressley Out

And you will still get shocking football with this level of investment.

    No Real Home Advantage

Sorry but people have totally lost faith in SISU. It is not a player or manager issue, it is how the club has been run, totally run into the ground.

    SP's interview....

Going back in my memory bank I think it was Frank Clarke ex Forrest and Newcastle understudy to the great Brian Clough....example he followed it up with was Adams at Arsenal, Jack Charlton when he was at Leeds.
