    Worst Ever CCFC XI

Brown was bad for us but nowhere near as bad as he was when he played against us. His performance in the first half for Bury during the 6-0 hammering was probably the worst by an individual I’ve ever seen.

It was the 2011 riots. Within a week or so of the Bury game we also played Blues (loads of looting had happened in Birmingham) and Palace (Croydon was smashed up but I couldn’t tell the difference between then and any other time I’d been there).

That special evening at Bury. Who else was there?

Fuck me. If you do use Shearer you’ve named an entirely different 11 to me and your team is as shit as mine.

    Worst Ever CCFC XI

If anyone questions how shit our players have been just tell them that Julian Gray, Danny Seabourne, Matt Heath and Gary Borrowdale all played for us and aren’t in our worst 11 of the last 15 years. Edit: and Stuart Beavon plays for us now.

    Worst Ever CCFC XI

Either Nathan Clark or Kevin Foley (I can’t remember which, both were as shit as each other) was captain when relegation was confirmed. Nothing sums up that season more than that.

Tim Sherwood passed the same medical. I got invited down to Ryton that summer and he told me about his leg break. Horrific stuff. He was running round the outer perimeter of the two pitches for over an hour after the rest of the team had come in for lunch. He was trying to get fit but it was...

Think it was mainly in his back.

He wasn’t brilliant. I’m sure I’ve read somewhere he was suffering from a degenerative bone condition at the time without knowing it though. Can’t have been easy for him!

Well happy with the Editors. Missed the Gaz Coombes announcement. Even happier now.

I think that was the game where Hutchinson came off the bench and changed it in our favour. Was John’s goal from just outside the area in front of the CT Stand?

Another brilliant addition. This is becoming the best one yet.

Oxford is a nice place but the location of the ground ruins it. A couple of years ago we were going to go on the train but the distance from the town centre put us off and we went by car instead as it was miles easier.

Was going to do Oxford and then head down for Spain game after. Was going to be a bit tight so this makes the plan easier.

It’s better to have something for 10 years than never at all. With the deal Khan has put forward I don’t see any reason not to take it.

The centre manager has also nipped down to B&Q and filled his trolley just in case there’s a hosepipe ban

Hearing that due to a water shortage Nuneaton Baths have closed lanes 1 & 2 of their pool.

48,988,800 seconds or 816,480 minutes or 13,608 hours or 567 days or 81 weeks... ...since Beavon last scored a League goal. I’d still have him over Gabby.

No thanks. He’s never been great. More recently he’s scored 3 goals in the last 3 years. Anyone that would want him at their club is bat shit mental.
