    Ethics Commitee Meeting Tomorrow

TBF, SISU were also doing PR - e.g. through Les Reid - and we only have the council documents to base our judgement upon. The rest is an over simplification of years of suspect dealings by both sides. It would be great if we could also delve into the SISU documents to get a balanced viewpoint...

    Ethics Commitee Meeting Tomorrow

I know nothing about SISU being skint. They administer other people's money as far as I understand it. TF told a journalist from the Guardian that SISU would not have accepted the Wasps' deal ( which included a 250 year lease ) because of the 14,4m debt. I am not peddling a line. If anyone is...

    Ethics Commitee Meeting Tomorrow

The official CCFC line is that they need their own stadium. Theoretically they could, and Indeed do, claim that they would not have taken the Ricoh because of the debt in the deal offered to Wasps. They ( TF etc ) are not council employees. They also would argue against the " complete arseholes...

    Ethics Commitee Meeting Tomorrow

It is not clear. Let's see what happens at the JR. Then both sides can tell their story. We will never have access to Joy's/ SISU's tactical discussions as they are not obliged to divulge them. Bear that in mind when forming an opinion.

    Ethics Commitee Meeting Tomorrow

@ Grendel: ML claimed SISU were not "a dodgy hedgefund" and Joy let us know, through an unbiased Journalist, that she is a devout christian. Was this done to fool us into thinking that hedgefunds do have ethics?

    Ethics Commitee Meeting Tomorrow

If there was no JR coming up, this would not be happening. At the moment we are examining the ethics ( or Lack of ) of one side in a dispute. A bit like watching a penalty shoot out with only one side taking the penalties.

    Coventry's Worst Hotels/Establishments

Really? Many modern buildings are built to fit in with the style of existing architecture. Do you think that dirty concrete does the cathedral justice? The cathedral was built in sandstone to fit in with the existing Middle Ages buildings such as St Mary's Hall.

    Ethics Commitee Meeting Tomorrow

It is a clash of "profiles". Joy " majored in real estate " and Mutton " majored on a real estate ".

    Coventry's Worst Hotels/Establishments

Which is a shame as a lot of cathedral visitors come through there. Coaches were constantly pulling up in front of the Britannia. It really looks grim. In our room one of the wardrobe doors was missing. Not impressive.

    Coventry's Worst Hotels/Establishments

The worse hotel recension I have ever read was for the Hylands Hotel opposite Henry VIII school.

    Coventry's Worst Hotels/Establishments

yes. That would never be allowed to be built today. So ugly and next to the cathedral. A German colleague stayed there and said it was a disgrace and that it was strange to have to use a public car park on the other side of the road and a bit away. She also said Coventry looked to be the poorest...

    Putting theknife in

Last season the line was Pressley doesn't like using loanees. They are not loyal, their heart's not in it etc etc. Now it is loanees are great etc etc.. TM's usage of loanees is what makes the difference. They want to be here playing under an experienced competent manager. It does them good and...

    Credit to SISU

I thought TM put himself forward to Waggot. Fair Play to Waggot for the contact. I think Joy concentrating on court cases, TF on a non-existant Stadium and CCFC being run as a ( apparently ) self sufficient football Club is the difference. Mowbray probably wouldn't have come here if our CEO was...

    Armstrong going back to Newcastle

There is a rumour and CT reported it as such. They then quoted TM to give a balance. They did not go into great investigative journalism, probably because, as it says " rumour mill ". I can imagine that they want clicks and you probably got them a few more.

    Armstrong going back to Newcastle

It is headed up "rumour mill". If you don't like rumours, especially negative ones, why give it ant time? It is also mentions that TM is in constant discussions, which balances out the rumour. "balanced reporting" some may say. Make up your own mind, but for some to take it to conspiracy level...

Capacity in the unlikely hood of a new stadium should be ?

So, basically the only advantage of us being SISU propco tenants at the Butts would be a share of stadium advertising rights ( some of which we already get ) and a percentage of year round catering revenues. As you say, we need a very rich backer- which we could have whilst bring a tenant at the...

Capacity in the unlikely hood of a new stadium should be ?

Interesting. Not heard that. What revenue are we likely to get from the Butts Arena? Please list sources with estimated amounts. Btw, there is no space for a sizeable car park- so parking revenue is a non-runner.

Capacity in the unlikely hood of a new stadium should be ?

To get an average figure of 20000 you need a larger capacity to balance out the gates which are under average. Even for 15000 average ( more than possible ) you would need 18 - 20000 capacity. Your one game historical example is meaningless. We have never had a premiere league game at...
